If you can hold it until you get to Revolucion and the Arch go to El Museo restaurant which is across the street from Hotel Nelson. They have nice digs (excuse the pun) but be prepared to buy a bottle of water at the bar.

Been there done that. Not pleasant at all. I don't know how you guys without hotel rooms get through a night. Maybe rent a flop pad for the day.

You can also go to the 24/7 coffee shop inside Plaza Cecellia...next door to Cafe Arguello. Plaza SC is the gay plaza where they have the live shows on stage during the weekends.
