I mentioned this to Soap Fan when I was out with him one night. IIRC he rightfully noted that they are bored for one thing. That said if you are in the middle of a drink with them they will likely look in your direction now and then from the stage. When I notice this I always flash a toothy smile. The reason is that from where they are it is not necessarily all that easy to see us. The toothy smile will stand out and I'll get one back.

i pretty much agree with barko.

only the most brazen slutty girls (in the view of some) are really going to oggle the ugly customers, or even the handsome ones. girls do not generally want to appear that slutty. this is not really my opinion but considering thai social norms.

they are bored out of their brains dancing gogo to same songs from yester-year day in and day out. they may have serious money problems causing them not to be particularly happy.

the obvious place for them to gaze is in the mirror where can see yourself and the other girls well. can then compare dancing styles and looks. they may not be looking at anything in particular - "jai loi" (which means a floating mind).

why try the come on to a farang only to get rejected. its much easier to wait for the farang to come to the girl.
i usually reject girls that put on a big act for me, prefering the more natural girls.

only a small percentage of girls have so much confidence that they seriously think they can hook their preferred guy.

i have even met very shy girls who looked stunning in the bar.

who cares what the iq of the girl is? i don't go there looking for a deep and meaningful conversation. i would rather have a sweet nice girl with fab looks, that is willing to relax and have a good time while making some money, than a super intellegent one that will try to manipulate me.

like barko says. i sit and watch umpteen girls. i decide i like one. i wave at her and if she spots me then i make the motion of having a drink so she knows. if she is facing a different way, i may be forced to walk right up to the stage in front of her, to invite her over. that way she just cannot miss me. i don't waste too much time inviting her over, in case another customer should invite her first.
after a chat/drink, i can always change my mind, and call a different one later. or to keep them guessing, invite two or three girls, and then later decide which one is best.

p.s. girls that already have a customer, will certainly have no reason to be catching your eye!

Hi guys, I have been reading all these reports in preparation for my first trip to Thailand. I have read about Jungle Jims, Toy Bar, Moonshine Join, Fannys here in the forum and they seem very interesting however do not have a location for them. I plan on visiting them when I am in Thailand. I have tried to do a search for them but did not find their location.

Can someone tell me if they are in Bangkok or Pattaya? Lastly, I would appreciate an address of these bars, are they close to each other? Thanks for any help.

When I was reading all the reports preparing for my trip, someone was saying that these bars have the wildest girls and was the most amount of fun he had in Thailand. This is why I want to go and check them out.

YMMV.... What one person thinks is a wild girl is not what others think are wild girls. What one person think is a hot chick is not what others think. Really... you are making a lot of plans and doing a lot of research but honestly you are depending too much on reports from others. I walked into some of the bars on Soi Cowboy and they were filled with ugly girls, or girls with attitudes, or young young girls who don't even look like they know how to screw properly, or girls that wanted too high a price etc....

Cowboy, really is for the tourist and they assume that when you walk in there you don't know any better and you'll pay a higher fee and some try to pull a bait and switch on you (agree to one thing then try another). YES I PULLED FROM COWBOY recently but it really is not filled with wild crazy girls.

You gotta work hard and survey the entire place to find what you want and like. Before I found a real diamond in the rough from Dundee of all friggin places and I WOULD NEVER recommend anyone going there as it is a dive.

The only thing I can recommend is take a close look at pricing. I overpay as I expect multiple shots and really long time for me. But most girls will want 4 K and expect two pops and then leave or even have the nuts to ask for taxi money. That is the same price you get on Soi 33. They will want lady drinks that are about the size of shots (and the shots are usually watered down). They will push for dinner or this or that etc... In other words some girls you might hook up with will play the game and try to ring you out of a lot of extra baht.

Some guys do only short time, some like long time, etc... So just like in MP's, do not take girls names specifically, take their names and go to the shop and do a line up and ask them their names etc..., but keep and open mind and pick a girl who has good eye contact to you and smiling etc... In the Bars, make notes of names but do not expect them to fit what you want.

What I am starting to think from your reports now are that you have all these high expectations and you are reading these reports from people you do not know personally and do not know what type of person they are or what they like and you are basing a lot on this reports that you will be very disappointed with the level of service and the bars when you DO get there. Finding the girls to suit what you want and enjoy is not the same for everyone.

What is happening now that is in your benefit with the poor economy is that there are a LOT of girls, a lot better looking girls, girls are going the extra mile trying to satisfy the customer due to the lack of customers, etc... It really is a buyers market now.

Good Luck... Enjoy your planning sessions and I wish you well... I am not slamming you or flaming you at all, I just hope you are not over planning your trip as we have talked via PM on issues. Get some basic info then go with the flow and enjoy. There are times when over planning can ruin your trip.

EDIT: recently we had four or five senior ISG members, I think most of us all had over 1,000 posts in thailand, we've known each other for years, we've all been to thailand probably over 30 trips each for most of us, we all have had long term GF's in thaialnd, and were sitting at Baccara. We all thought different girls were hot looking. We liked the looks of some of the same girls but we all found different girls that we liked most. So what one person reports does not mean it will suit you at all.

last time i was in these locations they all had a "naughty-boy" corner. A place where you may obtain delights from your hostess just out of sight from the other patrons. Usually around the corner of the bar,you can still be seen, but the bar will hide the activity. :)

Thanks, I understand what you are saying, the problem is that 3 of us are going together and it will be the first time for all 3 of us.

I am just gathering all the locations from guys that said they had fun there. We will check out each location as time permits. I know that the experience will be different for everyone but would like to check out all the famous places and other places highly recommend by guys here. This will give us a lot of places to check out and fun doing it.
