You know, there is a lot of people, also in Colombia, who think that the best way to spend the Saturday is at home in front of TV. The Alcalde wants everyone adopt this lifestyle, including the tourists who come here and spend a lot of money to sustaing the local economy.

So, at 2 am, a huge force of Policia Metropolitana, some officers with red jacket, professional photo operators (local press? Police agents?) moved compact to fight the vice and the crime. No, they did not look for pandilleros, but they went to Space to enforce the closing. Drama with the manager complaining strongly, the photo operators grabbing the scene and the customers, et cetera et cetera (fu*cking autocorrector, I must write it complete to avoid the mess and the need to re-edit my text).

I think that yesterday the boss of Space omitted to pay his bribe to someone, because the Tu Candela was open till after 4 am instead (front door closed, but vibrating because of the music inside, back door open, usual 10 k cover). WTF. What's the purpose to close bars at 2 am on Saturday?? To make the Centro silent and lonely like years ago, when it was a dangeros place?

Most of the time I did but after that I always did the "meet me outside" thing whether I drank enough or not. If the girl is a veteran she will say she don't care and vamos. It is mostly the new girls that are scared and want to follow the rules.

Cartagena is 100% better for me and to my speed. Chicas are out on the beach during the day and start going to the old city at night.

It took me 30 minutes of walking the beach before I met a blanquita from (drum beat) Medellin with a nice set of buttcheeks (Nalgas). Bought her a couple of beers and we both got hats for 30 k which was too much I think. Got ripped off for the beers but fuck it. She said let's not come here anymore.

She said she would spend time with me for 200 k. We fucked went to the old city for lunch, chatted a fuck load. I got her a ticket to go to Playa Blanca with me tommorow and she is bringing her shit over. I am going to give her about 200 k a day at the end which I think is fair.

Summary of my five days in Cartagena:

Day 1: I just explored the beach and Torre del Reloj. There are girls on the beach in the afternoon and I'd say starting around 9 pm the girls start showing up at Torre del Reloj in the old city. I was too tired my first day to pick up any so I just went home after having a quick dinner. I also found LDV by asking a working girl to show it to me. I felt sorry for her because she was Venezuelan and really desperate for a date (you could see the sadness in her eyes when I refused her) so I gave her 20 k for the 15 minutes I took from her time and wished her and her friend luck. These Venezuelans are going through a very rough time right now. It doesn't hurt to show them a little extra kindness with a propina.

Day 2: Got a tout to "call" me a girl. This was in the morning. I quickly realized these dudes are scam artists that just act as middle men. I'm pretty sure you can buy your own beers from the small bars on the beach in Bocagrande, get your own breakfast etc. But alas I had to learn the lesson the hard way. The girl didn't show up until noon, and I got a message from WhatsApp to come down. She was a beautiful blanquita from Medellin. I have more on her backstory further down with some interesting info on the Isis club. We immediately got to talking and I ordered us a couple of beers. The conversation was going very well. She was surprised at my level of Spanish (and frankly I was surprised at how well I was speaking). By the end of the conversation we were both laughing and getting a good vibe. Before getting the bill from the tout for the drinks, I mentioned I would prefer to go with no condom with her. I told her very plainly that my previous long term relationship with a working girl was all bareback and that I was used to that. She thought about it for a moment and asked me if I ever had an STD. I told her never because I prefer to only stick to one girl for a long period of time.

It's actually true. You lower your risk level significantly by having sex with fewer partners so sticking to one lowers that even more.

In any case, the inflated bill arrived, I got angry, and discussed it with the tout for a good 15 minutes before I just paid him in disgust. The girl told me, as we walked back to my apartment building, never to order anything from those guys.

The initial service was excellent. French kissing, blow job, bare back sex. Full of energy and wild. I loved it. After I finished in her for the second time I realized it was getting late and we were both hungry. We showered, got dressed, and headed into the old city for some lunch. Quick note about the chica: She spent the entire time with me. She made breakfast every day. Made coffee everytime she thought I wanted one. It wasn't the worst experience since I learned how to deal with them but still, we ended up paying a guy 50 k just to watch our shit while we went out on a jet ski. We were fucking tired by 6 pm when we got back to the apartment so we mostly just slept in and ate fast food. We did get up by 11 pm I decided to discuss her full payment as there were two days left. I told her I'd give her 200 k a day for a total of 800 k. She agreed but on the condition that I paid an additional 100 k per day for a "multa" or fine she had to pay. This piqued my interest so I nicely asked her to explain her situation:

Evidently she lived in a house with 30 other women, and she claimed 5 were in a room with her. Now remember to take this all with a grain of salt. Evidently she's a dancer at Isis occasionally to supplement her income. On days she does not work she has to pay 100 k to the "empressa," because they fly her in from Medellin to work and not sit around. Now which business that is I didn't ask but I started to get a picture of things. She said it's not easy money but quick money to work there so when she accumulates debt she takes vacation time from her work to fly to Cartagena and work the club. She told me she was done working that club (not sure if that's true but whatever) because she didn't like the customers.

Day 4: I had some Colombian friends visiting Cartagena. So after breakfast I offered to buy her a new camisa. She surprisingly resisted. When we went in she kept asking me which camisa she should get. I encouraged her to find one she likes. She eventually tried on a couple and I pointed to a nice one piece dress she could get for the night. I ended up buying all three for a little over $100. She looked more normal in the new shirt and less slutty. My Colombian friends would not approve of a prepago. I think one of them suspected but I assured her the girl I brought with me was just a Colombian girl interested in meeting an extranjero. My Colombian friends left Cartagena around 4 pm. They were doing a roadtrip all the way to Santa Marta to visit family. The girl and I went back to my apartment, fucked, slept in, and then got dressed for a night out on the town. This included dinner, doing the coach tour in the old city and hitting up Tu Candela for drinks and dancing. She looked stunning in the new dress I bought her.

Day 5: We mostly spent in the apartment eating whatever food we had left in the fridge and fucking. My flight was late in the afternoon. She helped me pack, and made sure all my clothes were cleaned and folded.

Great girl. I told her after navidad we could do something in January or February. She told me she was happy to go exploring other countries with me. I asked if I would have to pay her for her time and she said I wouldn't. But we'll see.

Some additional notes:

* A girl on tinder wanted 300 k for 2 hours. I told her 150 k for one hour and she refused. Offering 200 k for 1 hour sin condom for the blowjob part. Naturally I didn't bother as I had already met this girl.

* This girl has a real corporate job with four weeks of vacation a year. I think this fits the definition of "semi pro. ".

* There's an on-and-off novio in the mix who looks a bit like me hahaha. The last long-term hooker I had had the same thing. It's weird that way. It's like they fight with their novio then run off with the foreigner for a couple of months, then go back, and on and on it goes.

Cartagena is more expensive than Medellin. The only thing cheap about it was the great apartment I got with a huge balcony over looking the ocean on Bocagrande. Everything else cost more.

100% right. The last one drove me a bit over the wall when she wanted to quit her prepago job and go straight. She had every opportunity to just get a regular job and enough support from her wealthy family to do so. Instead she fucked it up, and my hopes of her becoming a regular girlfriend quickly vanished. I'm much more realistic now.
