I'll be staying at the Shangri-La in Jakarta in September and I would like to bring a girl back to my hotel. Can anyone recommend a good place to get them and bring them back? I want a good-looking girl who gives good service and makes a good impression. I don't mind paying up a bit. I would rather not use an escort service, but would like to go and see the girl first before I take her home.

It will be difficult.

You mean everything is far away except for BATS that is in the hotel, but Shangri-La is central Jarkata you can take taxi to Blok M or Kota for 30k or less not that bad.

You're staying in a five-star hotel in the heart of Central Jakarta a five-star hotel no less that has one of the most famous pick up joints in Jakarta in its basement and you ask if there's any chance you'll get a leg over with a good looking bird.

No mate, if you're as slow on the uptake as you appear to be in your question it's perhaps best if you just order a mug of hot chocolate from room service and go to bed at 9 pm. As it might not be safe for you to be let out on your own.

i am flying to singapore on 3rd of august and i have a female friend who is encouraging me to visit her in jakarta. she tells me that it is ramadan so i am not that keen. when in jakarta i usually visit blok m and tried hotel melawati for the first time last visit. from what i have read i get the feeling that many / most things will be open until midnight, i am an old fart so this suits me. hotels will be cheaper as peeps head out of jakarta, what ladies are available will be keener due to lack of business. may i have the opinion of the board please?

Just to begin. I have posted a report in the Cambodia section and a couple of shorts in the Thailand section to contribute something. I'm no leech. But I would really appreciate a brief overview of the P4P scene in Jakarta and Bandung as I'll be in these locations for a few days work soon and would like to score a few local cuties. I'm familiar with the Thai and Cambodian scenes but reading the Indonesia forum and around the web, it seems a bit different and not so straight forward (?)

So the questions:.

What are the options for a guy in Jakarta and Bandung? Maasage, disco only?

Where are the areas for P4P located?

What prices should I be paying? Bearing in mind I'm a new tourist, They'll all know that I'm clueless and I speak ZERO indonesian!

I'm just trying to get a rough picture of the situation in those places. If anyone can help, I look forward to your posts.
