Tansak KTV has given you some sound advice. It's good to have a plan – a general outline of places you want to check out and not miss. But when you hit the ground and start your exploits, things will happen – "best laid plans" and all that. At some point you will drop your plans and just wing it and that's when things will start to get really good. So loosen up. Go with the flow – don't get crazy and you will have a great time. BKK is amazing. The overall info you get on this forum is incredibly accurate. Use it! But as Tansak points out specific preferences vary. You got to go with what turns you on. For me, if this where my first time visit to BKK, I would check out a highly rated oily massage parlor like Angel Massage on my first afternoon in town. I would take my time and pick an attractive girl who smiles and gives me some eye contact. I would buy 90 minutes with her. That would insure 2 BBBJ and 2 CFS. The sex will vary from pretty good to hot damn! It depends on the girl. After a satisfying session I would give the girl a nice tip, go out and wander around Sukumvit. I would buy some t- shirts and have dinner. Around 8pm I would head over to Cowboy and check out 2 or 3 of the bars on your list. At some point I would probably stop by Baccara just to see what's going on. IMHO Baccara has a very good selection of pretty girls. (note: I am aware of the cons, but I still like Baccara anyway). After a 90 minute afternoon session I find that I am usually in the right frame of mind to enjoy Cowboy. I always go with the attitude that getting laid is strictly optional. I am there to have a few drinks and soak up the local color. With 2 wingmen by your side, I know you will have a great time! A bar girl has to be more than just hot to move me. She has to have the right attitude. Otherwise forgetaboutit. Keep on truckin'. It's all good.

Next day I do it all over again; in the morning tourist stuff, in the afternoon massage time (I might try a highly regarded soapy for a change), then fool around about town. After dinner I would go back to Cowboy, or Nana and check out some more bars (Rainbow 4 being another bar you guys should not miss (note; there are cons to this bar too but still worth a look see IMHO). If I hook up with a girl I really like, I give her my cell number and plan on having her visit my hotel room. If I don't meet a girl I want a 2nd round with that's cool too.

The point I am trying to make is that at the end of a BKK trip, it should end up being an exclusive trip tailored specifically to my preferences (your preferences) and conditioned by the random events that exclusively occur to me (you) while out and about.

In Thailand they are not hungry for Baht, as in there very existance and whether they can eat or not does not depend on a desperate fuck with some monger.

The girls have a support network, top girls will to some extent help lower ones, they love being the "numero uno" and having a gang of girls to cater to her ego.

Therefore the girls are often very choosy about who they go with. Their status in eyes of the other girls in the bar will rise if they keep getting taken out by "handsum man" but will go down if they keep going with ugly geeks, overwight guys or 60+ year olds.

However they will also play against this, eg if "fat man" pays 4000 baht each time and can only fcuk for 5 minutes and is spent, she will defend going with him by telling all the other girls he is easy money and a really quick fcuk, so they will understand her choice. But its still not the same "points score" as if a "handsum man" takes her out.

So yes, often they will avoid eye contact, and this means they are not interested in you.

If the girl who has been avoiding eye contact with you all night suddenly near closing starts making eye contact DO NOT THINK you have become lucky, all it means is she is now desperate for cash and will take you as against nothing at all. It generally also means you will get a lousy fcuk as she really has no interest in you at all.

For a first timer you will probably be swamped with girls straight away asking for drinks and giving you a shoulder massage for a drink, etc. Can be a hassle.
Thankfully, I dont get that attention anymore. I like it there for the selection of music....you can sit at the end of the bar by the computer and compile your own playlist.

I am a first timer here. As I have never been BKK before and am going to BKK next month, I would like to look for girls few nights there. Thinking what would be a better place for me as a stranger to seek girls in BKK.

Andy, I would be very, very careful about pick-ups near the front of the stadium...which is actually the front of the disco (the stadium is way out back!). The "girls" are hanging in front of the kid's karate place....front of the disco. The only problem is that these "girls" are 90% of the time not girls....and 10% drug addicts just pushing a fast short time at the two hotels to the left and right.....to pay the drug dealer in the disco. I have a lot of experience in this zone, as I live 2 minutes away. There have been over 10 gun fights in this area in less than 4 months....all Thai involved. I disagree, this is not a good place to look for women.

I have been to the other places you mention.....I can speak fluent Thai now. They are Ok......but nothing special.....I have taken the van into Morchit many times to avoid these specific local places. I have not found any great quality yet....but glad you are happy here.

Above all pick a girl that seems to react well to you, but not putting on too much of an act playing up to you.
Bear in mind that many girls will look at you much while dancing out of shyness. But some chemistry is essential, if she is sitting with you. Good dancers are often a good choice. She must be capable of having some fun.

If a newbie, try to resist getting too caught up with a girl until you have had time to do quite abit of surveying.

My experience is, if you actually connect with a lady, it can happen anywhere. But you can't force it. There is nothing I'd enjoy LESS than being with someone for a vacation, when I don't actually enjoy her company and her conversation. As for someone to have sex with - there are plenty of them anywhere you would care to go in Thailand. For cheap. And then you get to send them on their way.

Of all the women I've ever met in Thailand (we're talking about 120-150 or so), exactly two of them were worth keeping around when I wasn't actually fucking them. Paying them and sending them on their way may be the greatest investment of your trip.

I think that it's not very difficult to find a travel companion (if it's what you wish) in Bangkok or in Pattaya, but in my humble opinion, you should first try to spend a few days with the girl of your choice before deciding to travel (or not) with her (to be sure that you won't be bored too quickly with this girl).

I would probably choose a freelancer either in Bangkok or in Pattaya: they often can speak English decently enough in these area and are not as spoilt as some gogo or MP girls and would probably be very happy to travel with you (provided that they don't have a Thai boyfriend or children to take care of). Moreover, this would cost you lesser bucks (no barfine and usually more reasonable monetary pretentions).

Many (single) freelancers in Pattaya (prices are a bit higher in Bangkok) would go with you for 1000 or 1500 baht per day (and you should have even less difficulties if you offer them up to 2000 baht per day), but of course, you will have to pay for all the other expenses then (accommodation, food, transportation, shopping - clothes and cosmetics mainly - and probably a few gifts, etc.).

For a gogo or a MP girl and depending on the policy at their working place, you would probably pay twice, thrice or even more than that (including the barfine / take-away fee).

Of course, you have to be careful with certain freelancers because some of them (not that numerous actually) are thieves (in fact, in more than 10 years of active mongering in Thailand mostly with freelancers, I haven't met one of this kind but other people say they have). But if you take some basic precautions, you should not have any problem.

I wanted to clarify my post 2 messages down, in which I really shit all over the concept of picking up a Thailand working girl as a travel companion. Here's why:

She's certainly not going to like the food you like. She's certainly not going to enjoy the sort of entertainment you like outside of the bedroom. And she's certainly going to want to yap on her cellphone with her friends all of the time.

IMHO, it is extremely rare that an older farang is going to have anything at all in terms of common interests with any LBFM that he casually meets for sex in Thailand. As I said, I met exactly two of them in the well over 100 ladies that I picked up - and that is out of a sample that was heavily biased in favor of intelligence and English language skills in addition to sexual attractiveness.

You are going to feel like you cannot see the things you wish to see, and do the things you wish to do on your travels, if you are dragging along some Thai girl who has no interest in those things, and is only with you because you are her walking ATM.
