I spend a lot of time with one girl (the Shrimp). Having met her once in BKK, on my next trip I then paid for her company for 6 days, although I suggested we reviewed that after a couple of days. It went well.

She acts as my guide. I only eat Thai food in Thailand so she is responsible for choosing our food every day. On my first trip to Bangkok, my bar fined girlfriend taught me a lesson on tipping protocol that I've never seen discussed here. In most clubs, a waitress will return your drink change to you on a tray. Whatever you leave on the tray gets split among the wait staff. If you remove the change from the tray and place it directly in the hand of the waitress, she gets to keep it all. So if your waitress has been particularly nice to you, you can tip her exclusively. Believe me, she'll appreciate the gesture.

In my years of mongering I have learned that girl attitude goes a long way in determining whether or not you are going to pick a winner. Girls who come to work to work, i.e., smile and work for customers are far more likely to fit the bill.
