Here I refer to the normal, family Karaoke which are mostly located inside a shopping malls (Gajah Mada, Pluit, Sarinah.) and not the one in one-stop entertainment establishments.

Although the mongering scene is reduced significantly during the fasting month of Ramadan, there are still many opportunities available. You just have to look harder.

I've had some great sessions during past Ramadans, even during daylight hours, at such places as Malioboro, Fortune, in malls, with girls from Maribaya Spa who rented a room at Hotel Melawai, at the lowest-of-low-end spas in Kali Jodo, and elsewhere.

Also, don't forget Jakarta After Dark 2. His ads can be found in the classified section, most recently around page 3. If anyone knows where the action is during Ramadan, it's him. And remember, the Chinese who live in Jakarta are by and large Christian not Muslim, so there's a Chinese mongering scene that's active but hidden, and which JAD can help you find.

Took a walk from my hotel today. Just cut from Swiss Bel, past Fashion Hotel, and find Orchardz Hotel. It's a 5 min walk.

Spa is on level 3 (that's pressing '3' in the lift). Reported elsewhere as floor 2 or 6, which isn't the case.

Paid 2, 200 for massage in VIP room. You can pay either 2k or 2. 5k for other room, but I just took the one in the middle. Got shown the facilities, which I decided not to bother with, and then shown to waiting area. At desk they asked me what number girl I wanted. As you can't view I just asked for a slim one.

Waited 10 mins then was shown to room. Had shower and a great massage. Girl was just my type. Slim but with some curves. Stunning body and face quite pretty. Massage was great. She asked me what else I wanted and I went for FS, which was only 3k. Great price! She went on top for a while, we got into it, and then I flipped her over towards the end. Wasn't the best I'd had, but she wasn't just lying there either. Looking at her hot body in the mirrors was awesome.

Cons: Room was a bit cold. Had to wait 15 mins for girl to turn up. Not the most luxurious of spas, but no slum either.
