Some of the more recent reports are pretty suspect; especially considering that just few weeks ago the king had issued shoot-on-sight orders for anyone breaking the sunset curfew.

In my experience, the dance bars are the worst way to go - it'll be a lot of $ and time spent for a let-down. Dance bars cater to the youngish middle-class males who've got some cash and want many good looking young things to pay attention to them - and the girls act accordingly by being flirtatious and egging the guys on to get more to drink. Basically, think in terms of your basic Bangkok bar, but with little chance that the girls are into PFP. I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but the chances of PFP are slim; most of the girls are from the villages and this is the only work they can get and the corrolarr is that they don't have much concept of PFP, or any english for that matter.

Your best bet for PFP are the MPs or some of the 'discos' in Thamel. All the SW action is around Ratna Park and Kamal Pokhari (the 'queen's lake' near Ratna near the entrance to New Road). The 'inside scene' is tremendously hard to crack, but you might be lucky to have a hotel clerk that can hook you in to something; be warned that cabbies are notoriously unreliable. Check out some of the previous posts by myself and Lance-a-lot.

i spent about 3 weeks in nepal with time spent in ktm eitherside of trekking -my time in the capital was limited but i did locate a massage parlour on durbar marg opp. the roundabout with the statue. look for the herbal massage sign up high and climb the stairs to the top (4 floors i think) passing several small travel shop office entrances enroute. at the top turn left and there they are!! i saw 3 girls and the cost for a massage went up from 800 rupees with an extra 1000 plus for sex agreed direct with the girl. one time the 3 booths at this place were full so after a phonecall i was collected by another girl and taken to a related parlour also on the same main street just along from the annapurna hotel. both places were clean as were the girls rated at around 6-7 when compared with thamel which is basically the pits!!

i then met up with an old nepali girlfriend who supplied me with all that i wanted for free so kathmandu is still ok if you know people!! despite the political turmoil, the trafic polution etc etc in nepal i found the place mostly agreeable but it is not the best place to find what most of us want from time to time!!

Thanks to the king , things are returning to normal in this hill town, which includes the dance bars! The girls are back and are desperate to make up for the lost incomes of the past two months. Things should return to normal before the season starts this year and the girls should charge less. I will be there next week and will report on the scene.

I'm planning a trip to KTM within the next couple of months. I've been there many times before, the girls are beautiful, but never had any real luck. Since the massage parlours aren't really my thing, I'm very interested in finding out which clubs/discos and dance bars are relevant. Zipper1 mentioned a mama-san - I'd be happy to get her no. Anyway, I'll let you all know what I find - I'll try and get some photos as well.

Some of the bars , some I saw in thamel seem to have shut shop mainly because there was no business and not not enough customers. Some of the bars still seem to operate and as normalcy returns to Nepal perhaps we will see even more desperate women willing to do more after almost no income in the past few months. I will soon be visiting Kathmandu again and should have a report soon.

Good to see new posters in this section! I'm going to ktm next month so I've got a few questions: is x-bar a disco or a dance restaurant? Bruce-lee, you write that it's a sure thing - does that mean that all the girls are available, and if so will the bring up the topic themselves? I've been to quite a few dance restaurants in the past, but it has always been very ambiguous whether the girls were into the game or not. And where to bring them? Any recommendations of clean, discrete(!!) short time hotels are welcome. Are there any discos with a scene? Like the now-closed(?) Dynasty Club on Durbar Marg? Also, any info on the infamous cabin restaurants? And how about pictures? Anyone had any luck?

Xbar is a dance bar, like many that are in thamel and other areas of KTM, The girls give you good company in the bar but will be very cautious as to what hotel you are taking them to. Remember Nepal is still a conservative society. what goes on in the bar is not what goes on outside. foriegners are preferred over the locals. LE is aware and get their share of the game all the time so no worries about that.

The other place to look is the casinos. Stirke a conversation with the girls working there and see what it leads to. However be polite and move off if they decline, all the girls are not upto what you want them to be for various reasons, 2-3k nepalese should be good for ST and perhaps FS.

You can also call one of the madams for a girl. they are a little more expensive but these girls are experienced.

The cabin restaurants are all closed. many of them have converted to the dance bars now and not as inhuman as used to be.

Treat the girls well, it can be more fun that way.

What madams? Sent you a pm a couple of days before. Will be in KTM in October, looking for new adventures. Had a lot of funny experiances there in the last years - but it's still difficult. A shame that they closed the woodlands bar - was mostly a relyable place.

In x bar I made a fool out of myself - girl wanted to go for lunch next day and then shopping. Ended up buying two sarongs, a pair of jeans and a lot of other stuff - about 50 $ - and then got a coke in the girls room - too late - she had to go to work. Next day she wanted a neckless - some touching - too late again - and then I left with hurting balls. : -((

What madams? Sent you a pm a few days before, would love to make new experiances in ktm, going there again in October.

Was in ktm the last 4 years, made a lot of funny and also nice experiances, but it's still difficult. Best score I had with a massage girl, what I was meeting the last three years - took her out of the parlor to the hotel. Then she even took me to her home. That was a experiance too. ; -)) especially the washroom - we know what I'm talking about.

i only had 1 night to explore the scene and here's what i found.

the cabbies will claim to know places with girls, but they'll drive you all over town searching themselves, went to two guest houses in secluded areas, each had 4-5 girls working inside, they lock the gates as you enter the building and turn off all the lights, you go upstairs and they have a waiting area with two dirty soiled beds, they either bring the girls to you or you go look at them in their own rooms. the girls are about 2-4 on looks, ages range from young teens to forties, they appeared disinterested in their work, they just looked awful. they are either nepalese, indian, or chinese looking. prices: 3000 indian rupees asked up front, negotiated down to 1500, all done through the cabbie or pimp. didn't do anything, but damage for searching out the places, 390 nepali rupees.

thamel - there are plenty of bars, but the streets are full of local guys hanging out, at least 4 ladyboy sws, and it's disgusting, it stinks, people [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] in the open, there's trash on the ground.

inside, most of the bars are full of not so great looking girls, and 1 or 2 cuties at 6-7. but i went to this one bar where there were a lot of cuties inside ranging from 5-8, unfortunately it was too hot and crowded, very cramped in space. about 250 nepali rupees per beer per person minimum.

make sure not to create a ruckus, meaning "always keep your voice down," some indian guys i knew made a huge game debating with one club about prices, cops ended up showing up, they asked us to leave the scene and arrested the club bouncers. doesn't feel good to see 8 cops in military attire, 4 of them with assault rifles in hand, and a police minivan waiting outside to take people away.

the down side to thamel is that there is no real late nightlife, you have to meet the girls from 4-7pm and hook up with them after at 10-11pm, also language is a problem, if you know nepali or hindi you got the negotiations made, it's tough with english only. and if you want to go to a massage parlour, it's only good from 11am to 6pm.

for mongering scene, thailand is still the best, but i will say this about nepali girls, they have more of a curvy round ass than a thai girl does.

Well, experiances are alway subjective - for myself I found the best thing is to check massage parlors in tamil, and, if you found a nice girl, try to get her out and bring her to your hotel. This can be fun, had a a wonderfull time that way. Even got invited to her private place.

Try your luck, everything is possible in these places, hidden, but you only have to ask.

Now to the point: I don't know if you are currently visiting this page or not, but this is sure that I found this page just a cpl of months before.

Ii visit k-du frequently and on my initial visits, I was told that girls is k-du are easy to be taken, and I just did not believe the person who said this.

Coz, I always have seen nepali girls as beautiful, innocent (infact very innocent), cool person.

Lately, I came to know that something is fishy over in this country.

This so-called poor country-girls are spending on garments and cosmetics like someone from hollywood or bollywood.

I was amazed to think that how could they afford this all.

Now the picture was getting clearer.
