I think this forum, at least the German FKK portion, is no different from other social media. There are all kinds of people, some nice, some aggressive, some bullying or being assholes. I think in general, most people here are quite helpful and give pretty useful info. If you post comments on Financial Times, or Huff Post, CNN or WSJ, it is no different, just the topic is different. It is up to each poster what they are willing to put up with, or how they respond back. My view is that if some one disagrees with my opinion or comment and calls it stupid it is fine, but if they get personal and calls me names, I respond back in kind and with a strong of f words, and that has worked for me here once or twice.
