I did visit High Class during the day, which was nice and clean. However, I did find a diamond in the rough near the Mercado around 10:30 P.M. one night, after putting some distance between a trannie and myself. Let us just say that my Spanish came in handy. Fortunately, someone distracted and retained the trannie for me. Got a motel room, and stayed most of the night with the girl that I found. Since I already paid for the room, I left and caught a cab around 3:00 P.M. back to my residence. I let the girl keep the room. It actually was a pleasant GFE. She kept asking why I was leaving. I said that I simply had an interview in the morning, and had to go. I do not suggest the Mercado area to anyone, or even most people. However, there is company to be had if you are a street-smart person.

hey i am heading out to gdl around the 15th, but only for about two or three weeks tops. there is a place i saw on lopez mateos right close to the intersection with lazaro cardenas that charges $500 pesos for roughly 45 minutes but i got there very late and had already been to high class where it is $550 pesos for 30 minutes. with the exchange rate as it is, high class is about $37 usd for the half hour and the other place is a better deal as far as time goes, but i don't have a clue what the facilities look like inside other than the greeting area. hc has clean facilities and i love that they have lots of hot water for the showers.

I was going to Guadalajara next week but am canceling. I heard one report that came from someone who owns ambulances that he's transported several people in GDL that had the flu, and a second report, filtered through two people, that 100 people, patients and doctors, have died in GDL from the flu in a single large hospital. I believe the first report, but not the second. I understand some schools and businesses will close next week and traffic in the malls is way down.

I may be paranoid, but wonder if there are a couple of considerations for people like us -- could you travel to Mexico and then get stuck there because some kind of a quarantine on flights between there and the extranjero? And do you really want to be kissing a prostitute when there's a flu epidemic, with high fatality rates, going around?

I think you're going to have a tough time. You might try contacting a lot of women on something like cybercupido.com or amigos.com. Maybe you'll come across an English speaker that would have spare time and might be willing to travel with you after she's met you in person.
