The authorities plays no game with robbers. Please visit the island and use common sense. I spent five years in Harlem in the late seventies and with all the stories i heard before living there nothing happened.

Walking to campo from your hotel is a long distance, the only hotel within walking distance is H.Johnson airport. The roadside is too dark at night don't walk there. Campo is not in a tourist zone, inside campo is very safe though.

Hyatt may have construction delays, it will take another year to complete.
It's way too far from campo on the southeast tip of the island, nice aerea to stay.

Aruba has cheaper fares from MIA and JFK.They have brothels in San Nicolaas. Check this forum for reports on that.

Don't believe everything you hear from the island come and see for yourself.

I'm in Curacao now an going to campo every day. Also met E Cartman, he was renting a room there in campo. It looks like it's not a bad idea to stay right there.

In my opinion campo sucks big time now. It's been a year there are not many girls, mostly bad looking, the ones who are ok are in high demand. There are also a lot of customers, there are more men than women! Everthing is opposite now compared to what used to be years ago.
The girls' attitude has changed accordingly. Forget about GFE and anything extra... Now it's the sellers' market there.

Yesterday Samantha from room 269, was the first who completely made campo looking bad. I never had such bad experience at campo. She was complaining during the "process" why she has to do some stuff for a long time, also she does not do that and that... also asked for more money upfront. I did not want to stay with her until the "end" and left. Even though she's average looking, she realizes that she's too hot for campo and she's got "worse-than-in-amsterdam" attitude like she's the shit, picks up customers every 30 min, and guys go for her since there are no many good-looking girls left. She knows English very well which is very unusual, so i guess lot's of gringos have spoiled her big time. So it was my pleasure to leave early and not kiss her ass.

Fortunately there are few girls who are not bad, ok looking and with good performance, but nothing special at all which would make a trip to curacao/campo worth of your time and money as it used to be. Nobody is trying to impress you anymore everything is business-like and mechanical.

I also checked out the Race Cafe located on Corriweg and Amigo's Terrace Santa Rosaweg. Not much to do there either. Very few girls, some of them actually not bad looking. But they were mostly busy since there were ten times more local guys than girls.

In conclusion whatever they are saying, Campo's business is doing good now. and it's becoming obvious they are not interested(or do not really need) to have many girls there since the number of visiting men(a lot of gringos) is growing anyway. They are probably making more money from an entering campo gringo than from a girl who lives there and pays room rent. Entrance fee is 10Fl, plus then gringos buy lot of drinks and food. And the fact that there is not much to do in campo and girls' quality is bad makes gringos buy even more food and get more drunk. Bottom line, it's not worth to go to Curacao for mongering purposes anymore. Sorry for the pessimistic report, but I believe it's pretty accurate. I'm wondering if those times when those innocent looking girls in Campo who "fall in love" with you, are going to be back. does not look it's gonna be soon.

A note has to be sent to the campo management to start looking for some nice goodlooking girls.
I tried before on their website but no action was taken.
There's actually an agent that is looking for girls, but the guy seems to accept anything as long as the girls pay him his fee.

Campo has something for everyone. A safe environment, no drink quota, and no pressure. You can stay there all day if you like and partake only if you want to.

Bad experiences with women are a part of the business. Personally i treat it as a learning experience and move on. Word gets out and her popularity will wane.

I find Campo to be a safe no hassle place and at $28 a bargain.

I was at Campo during the last week in March. Met with Goga Fung, and had some good conversations comparing the relative merits (or lack thereof) of Campo vs. other destinations.

I can relate with GF’s frustration as to lack of 8/9’s, and the few 7’s that were there were few and far between. (To be fair, I am quite fussy regarding looks, and I never give a 10.) The visa problem may have been solved, but it still takes time for the girls to arrive, and I seemed to be just a little too early. The last day there, 12 girls arrived, and there were a couple of very cute young flacas.

When I find an attractive GFE at Campo, I repeat with her. The reason is very simple. I have found that when repeating with girls, the service almost always improves. I understand what you mean, but disagree. If we do not expect much, the prices will eventually go up and the service will go down. The service is already way down in campo. Fortunately the price is still the same. We must thank locals for that. If campo was for gringos only, the price would be $100 long time ago. It would be still affordable, right?

In Eastern Europe, Russia and even some poor former soviet union countries the prices have gone up a lot and service is worse then before. Why? because there are many people who do not expect much and happy to pay for bad service.


E Cartman, you already left, on my last night at campo i finally found one gem, Samatha from Cartagena room 237. Looks/performance/attitude are great (9+). Perfect body. It was her first night there. I guess she had not realize that she can make the same money with lousy service:-) Hope she keeps the same service quality for a long time. Most of other girls I saw in campo were nothing compared to her.

You are right for thanking the locals for keeping the price down. Left up to gringos the price would be $100 as you said. It might be affordable for some because many compare the prices in the US to the prices in the islands, like comparing apples and oranges.

I was at Campo during January and spent much time there chatting with many of the ladies and as such was able to see them in a different light. I had a rental car and was able to go to the beach with some of them, had lunch with them a few times and in no way did I ever fell that they were out to exploit me in any way. In fact on one occasion they paid for lunch and drinks.

Maybe my experience there was different from other's but that is normal in many cases. Your "9" might be a "4" for me and vice versa. We all have different tastes and needs.

I still say that Campo is big enough to satisfy many if not all of us.
