Should have posted earlier. Currently staying in a hotel in hyde park JHB. Would like to find an in-call option within walking distance (though I will catch a taxi) for this evening. Unfortunately will be catching an early flight tomorrow so short but hopefully quality stay.

I might be moving to Johannesberg. I might be there for a period of 3 months. The problem is I am a bit limited with the budget and all the hotels I googled have the rates starting from at least 50 USD. I will appreciate if some one can suggest, nice/cheap accomodation(can be guest house, preferably gf) in Sandton area. I am saying this area, because I am not good at driving and will prefer to stay in Sandton near my business area.

Any suggestions guys?

Any help on cheap (R300. R500) gf accommodation anywhere in a safe area would be appreciated.

Anyone living in Joburg or frequently there able to tell me whether there is any state monitoring of specific internet downloading/uploading ie such as webcam show sites? I would hate to land up in trouble for surfing in my fave webshow sites while using a hotel's wifi! Can anyone in a hotel or building SEE exactly which sites have been viewed or used?

Aloha everyone! I'll be in Rustenburg, South Africa during the world cup 2010. I arrive late May and will depart early July. I'll be staying with a friend in Rustenburg who is a local there. Yes 2010 is only a few days to go and the soccer fever is just going to grow! What the effect on the economy will be is anyone's guess.

Fact is, that RSA has an extremely high level of unemployment and that makes the lure of easy money and temptations so easy. Coupled with a high influx of Zimbawean/Mozambique/Malawain seeking better opportunities South Africa is already a cheap mongering destination for the African lover.

Caucasian/Indian and coloured (mixed race)(my personal favourite) are available but more expensive and mostly not so keen to please as the african girls.
