What I meant is the person doing the check-in would definitely need the ID. But any visitor (girls) visiting him should not need an ID as visitors can call him and get the room numbers and directly get there.
Not sure if such hotels are there in Delhi or all visitors have to go through reception check.

I saw entry guard followed me to check my entry to this spa, and on the first floor, 2 constables were present near the piller, personally saw just before the entry so diverted my entry and saved myself.
Once out, I enquired nearby and found that a rival spa in the vicinity is after this spa by using their local police connection. So anydays in future, LE raid can be seen here. Better stay away for now.

The desert mall clubs are buzzing again but quality has moved to Raani's in the mall on the other side of the Road.
Old peppers is open again with a new Waka2 name but it's dud as yet. Just a few from the entire lane move to it after 1:30 AM as it's an overnight place.
Feel free to connect. Will be happy to give you company. Others also welcome. Let's go together on a party night. Moving in pack is always good. And me being an old visitor to most of these places helps getting better deals.

One of my friend used the same tactic in Paharganj and he had booked a good hotel. He told the reception about the guest and told that it's a female guest. The girl visited him for around 2 hours or so and he got his job done. Most hotels are OK with guests or visitors as you call, but make sure they are dressed decently with less make up, so they don't look like a normal WG.

It's available on the desktop layout only I believe. If you're viewing on mobile (chrome browser app), just click on the 3-dots button on top right of browser, and in the drop-down menu which appears, click on desktop view. You'll then be able to upload pictures to reverse search on Google images.
