Havana

So, which part of town is the casa you and your boys stay in?

I'm looking to make Havana my next visit, or very soon, after 7 trips to Colombia, 2 to the DR and 1 to The Philippines over the past 18 months. I'm not afraid of 3rd world countries, having been to all of Central America and a lot of South America, as well as India, etc.

So, that said, what's the best part of Havana to stay in to get the best of the city and have the awesome experience why'all have had?

This is a warning for those of you planning on going to Cuba and then flying back to the US, who do not live in the US.

Met a couple of mongers outside the Etecsa office waiting in line to buy a sim card. One lives in Bama and the other one in the UK.

Both were bodies who travel to most Asian countries chasing poonang, first time in Cuba.

When they found out I was a veteran Cuban visitor they stuck around like flies to a honey pot, haha.

They were visiting for a week and planned to fly back to Miami and do some sightseeing in Key west.

The day they were leaving I got them a ride with a reliable driver I use. So, after a while he calls me on whatsapp and tells me he couldn't get on the AA flight to Miami!

The English guy WAS NOT allowed to board the flight back to the US. He was eventually put on a flight to Mexico City with a connection to Heathrow!

So, the moral of the story if you plan on visiting Cuba and the US, make Cuba your last stop before heading home, otherwise you'll be extremely disappointed like the UK monger.

My understanding, there's a law passed in order to keep strangling the Cuban economy where when the above scenario happens then end result is less tourism in Cuba, since most people given a choice where to visit will obviously choose the US and this in effect take away for tourism dollars in Cuba.

I started the day with breakfast. Same restaurant I had dinner the night before. Walked on the Malecon. Came back rested up for the night.

First stop was 245 but it was completely empty. But I did like the set up. Had to leave. Went to LM again this time was even more packed. It's really impossible to grab anyone's attention.

Next stop was 212. It's right across the street from V&S. Lots of working girls but all were not my type. Decided to head back to V&S. This night was very packed. And quite a few beauties. Went with a cute 19 yo. Her opening price was 70 usd. So off we went. Had her in a few positions finished with BBBJCIM.

I'm realizing the most expensive part of the nights are taxis. I hired a guy to take us around all night I pay him 60 $ a night. Well worth it because that's one thing you're going to need.

I think this one report may have moved me from 85% sure that Havana was my next destination to 100%. That and some videos with so many beautiful chocolate (dark chocolate my favorite) chicas, I'm sure I'll be in heaven!

I'm use to the higher end scenes in Colombia and even casino girls in CR and DR. Anyway off we go back to the apartment. The session was filled with a lot of BBBJ. If you have been to Cuba, then ETIAS is not valid and you need to get a visa at the American embassy (and it takes lots of time and is more expensive than ETIAS), where you will be interviewed.

Staying at a casa particular right on the malecon only a few blocks walk to Hotel Inglaterra and the center of the action. We checked in and headed out. Like cartagena, touts are everywhere trying to sell you cuban cigars or exchange cuban pesos for dollars. Everyone has a side hustle trying to survive. Girls on the street are plentiful and you can engage any that interest you. We started collecting wpp numbers but kept walking to assess more talent. Found a cute spinner, college co-ed type that was a doll. Invited her to head to dinner with us. She was cute feeding me as if we were eating as if we were boyfriend / girlfriend. Buddy picked up one too and negotiated $25 bbfscip so the four of us headed home. My girl was full on GFE and eager to please. Paid her $50 usd.

Thursday we headed to the club fabrica de arte in miramar. After talking with several prospects, made our choices and headed back to the apartment. Once again full GFE, $60 usd.

He came to the US and met with fellow monger who then drove down to Miami and flew into Cuba. Not knowing about the ban to enter the US once you visit Cuba. Evidently he had the necessary docs or whatever a UK visitor needs to visit the US, otherwise he wouldn't have been allowed into US territory in the 1st place, where that's an ESTA (yes it's ESTA, not ETIAS) visa on the way back to the US. Like I mentioned on my original post, when one visits Cuba then this triggers an automatic 6 months ban on you to enter the US in case you are not aware of it.

Again, main goal being to put a hurt on the tourism dollars Cuba gets.

Want to update some you mongers about what I encountered during my recent 2 weeks in la Habana.

I go mainly for the Havana Jazz Fest that takes place yearly at the end of January for about 8 days. So, don't go necessarily to hook up with Cubanas although that's always an open option.

List of places that I can update.

Sofia is remodeled and opened again, no action whatsoever the times I went by.

The hotel next door to Sofia had a party on the top floor going but was private. Asked the guy at the door downstairs if it would reopened, and he didn't know.

King bar, on 23rd, Happening on 2 times I went on the weekend, younger crowd.

FAC (fabrica del arte cubano) happening, mostly on weekends.

Johnys bar, lots of action, need to find out what nights it's happening.

La Esencia, it's been closed down and replaced it seems by a restaurant / paladar. Stop on Friday (that's used to be their best day).

Hotel Nacional gardens, mostly tourists and locals but also saw some prospects roaming the grounds. Nice place to have a drink in the afternoon when the weather is good (it can get breezy sometimes).

Ley Seca, one night I was with the mongers that I mentioned on another post and I asked the driver if he know of any places that were happening, well lo and behold he took us to this joint hidden in an old building (you had to walk up like 4 floors) This place is classy and I spotted 8+ and above. Pretty upscale joint and if you go make sure you dress up otherwise you won't fit in.

Most of the action I saw was around Obispo street / Parque Central area.

I have to agree with MaxLee88 report. There's plenty of chicas to have fun with, specially if you are fluent in Español, even if your Español is not the best you'll be good to go.

Mondo its been over 7 years since last trip. I wanted to confirm if Sophia was on La Rampa and Johhnys in Miramar right past the tunnel.

We are in Old Havana on a trip and just returned from walking San Rafael and through Central Park. There is little to no action in Central Park despite what people say. Some working girls meander through it but we so none working inside the park. As we walked down to the little park with all the benches on San Rafael, we noticed tons of men with a female or females, pimps. We were approached numerous times by the pimps. We ended up talking with a group of four females; unfortunately, they wanted to go as a group, not individually. Also the best looking one appeared only interested in drawing the attention of men, not going with any. She then diverted the men toward her friends. Personally, I stopped having interest in cock teases back in middle school.

We walked down to the V&S bar on Avenida de Italia to find it closed (at 10 PM and 1:30 AM). There was a long line of patrons attempting to get into Casa de Musica, and many of the working girls were in line.

We noticed several of the working girls represented by pimps appeared very young, so be cautious that the females are old enough if you do business with one of the pimps.

No, if you like 5-star hotels and cruise-like eating, don't go to Cuba. But I'm not a foodie, and I live off of protein bars and chicken fingers most days anyway haha. And like with chicas, you get what you pay for with AirBNB. I typically spend $90-100/ night, and there are places in that range that are very nice inside with good AC and water temp. I did have a bathtub / shower problem with my first week apartment, but I didn't give them a bad review because I didn't want to burn that bridge. And I really liked the host / employee, who sold me water even after I moved to a different apartment. I am pretty used to my soft pillows and cushy life. If I can do Havana, you probably can.

Plus there is so much uncertainty, you risk spending a night alone. Maybe I can squeeze it in one night.

BTW, you mentioned getting the SIM inside the airport. I tried this two trips ago, but the gal working the table couldn't figure out my iPhone. She was trying to attach a cable (sus!) but only had non-lightning cables. I was happy to go across the street where they didn't feel the need to attach a cable to my phone just to activate it. Interestingly, the one place I was able to use my USA Visa was the Etecsa store across the street from the airport. They actually entered my credit card on a webpage that I think is non-Cuban. I figured, what the hell, maximum liability for fraud for me would be $50. Anyway, yeah Cubacel activation es muy importante. How else do you call your hosts?

Non-professional chicas in Cuba do not wear high-heeled shoes, but come to the bars in sneakers.

They wear normal to very sexy clothes, they are sometimes very beautiful and you pay 5000-7000 pesos.

They are very happy with about 20-30 dollars.
