I've tried to persuade him to go to a public hospital in Shanghai but he's reluctant to have it on file. That and the fact his Chinese is crap and he doesn't want the few Chinese friends he has there to be in the know.

If anything its a reminder that even freebies here have their risks and protection is always a smarter choice.

I just would simply try my luck, here, best in pharmacies, which are a bit in more remote places, and where business is slow.

Going to the doctor is the best option, but this is what the doctor will prescribe, I think.

I've read through the forum looking for a good sauna. I got a few names, but I would like to ask members if they would give me the names of three of the best high-end saunas, I. E. Cute young girls, good service, and nice atmosphere and surroundings. Please include name and address as well as description. I would much appreciate it. I'm somewhat overwhelmed by my forum reading, so a clear statement of three good ones would be great.

I've only been to HaiLang Spa, partially because they offered the Red Rope service, and will modestly recommend that you read my two reports, one of which includes a scan of their business card with directions:

Here is an advice for all who are looking for FS but don't want to pay the sauna fees.

There are plenty of massage shops at Hongsong Road between Hongjing Road and Jinhui Road. In total around 15 to 20. They offer massage and FS (60min / 1 pop) for 400. The rooms are comparable to the normal massage places with separate shower. Okay, to be honest the massage quality is not the best but we are not going there for this. Even at this time of the year still plenty of girls to choose from.

This might be a area to go if you think BBS is too crappy and sauna too expensive.

Does anyone know a similar shop at Xujiahui? Or at least a MP that offers BJ.

Using QQ's equivalent of Google's street view, I was checking a strip in Baoshan district to see if one particular shop was still active.

Got my answer, see the attached screen grabs of a lady in a mini-skirt (mid-screen) heading for the BBS (far left). Seems she had just been dropped off by the silver car as the QQ camera man was passing.

Siyuan, which is right next door, is much better. I would also add Bodi to the list as the #1 sauna in Shanghai followed by Siyuan. For third place, hard to say, but Hailang is a good choice. I don't know Heting. Yes, girls are fewer during CNY, but they are still there. Siyuan will have about 20 girls working over the holiday.

Went to 1808 Beijing road 5 days ago, they said their best service was a 258 kuai body rub. Girl number 1 was skilled but greedy, told me I can touch, I ask can she take the clothes off, she says gimmie 300 tip. Keep touching is 200. I say no to both but ask will she finish my HJ if I don't pay extra she says yes. Stopped touching didn't take her clothes off finished and then she says now gimmie a tip. I give 200 because I'm stupid, pay the 258 at the table after, then leave.

Also went to a spot a just a few doors down from The Max Pub 3 days ago, which is a pretty cool bar BTW, on fujian middle road and fuzhong road near the stupid mint place. The menu says blah blah blah cheap this cheap that then something for 250ish something for 350ish then something for 800ish. I ask at the counter if they'll da3 my fei1 ji1 and I forgot her number points happily at the 800 option. I say too expensive, she says ok 300 then, I say yes. Good massage and good HJ. Asked about the clothes and she whispers she's not allowed but I can touch for 200 and clothes come off for 3. I say no, she finishes her job. Didn't ask for a tip and I didn't give her one. Left happy.

Also went to Hailang spa today at like 2pm. They said right this way for your 880 kuai massage, I said how about red rope service, they said ok wait 20 minutes I say ok. 20 later they say only one girl, I think number 007, I say ok, she washes me, clothes off, gives a little BBBJ on the bed and the tons of nipple lick thing then finishes me with her hands and somw oil. I'm thinking cool, two pops from the red rope and FS that is sure to come next and ill be really happy, but no. All done. Another shower, then dries me, dials the phone hands it to me and a no english voice says something something I say hao and they hang up. Bleh. Totally not worth the money even though its my fault for not complaining and demanding and whatnot. The girl spoke no english but enough of the men do that I could have at least voiced my frustration I'm sure, but for me if I have to complain it ruins it anyway so I didn't bother. Plus it's not like the door staff would give me a discount for frowning at them. Plus maybe I don't even want to lay a girl who I got to get grumpy with before she'll give it up. Ok that last parts not true I still do but oh well.

Your kilometers might vary a lot because Chinese new year and because my Chinese is ok.

I wouldn't stress it too much mate, it's probably a combination of several things. New year slow business, I admitted it was my first time there which always sets you up for subpar service, and I'm entirely too nice and chatty with them. It's good Chinese practice but nice guys always make the worst mongers. Pretty sure all I had to do was say oi gimmie them nips and haha no tip for you, but I always forget to be a dick while following my dick.

I have many fond memories (7 years now) from that location and the alley way Mp on Wuning Road(at the corner of Wanhangdu Rd in Jingan) with the same owner. I'm always interested in which providers are the most open to roaming and DATY. I even got BBBJ there in November and DATY with two if them. If course prices will go up. One gal told me the difference between the 208 and 258 oily was a better quality oil. What a scam. Still I will return to sample the wares.
