Making the most of P. Burgos when LT isn't an option
Hi Gents,
I will be in Makati in February, staying near P. Burgos Street. I only have a few days in town, but I plan to make the most of them. I will gladly post a FR of my experiences. Someone from back home will be keeping tabs on me, so my extracurricular activities will limited to a few hours at a time (no overnights / LT).
I've been reading the forum to find out how things work since the re-opening. I appreciate all the advice given thus far. It sounds like the bar scene will cost at least PHP 12 k per night (including drinks, barfine and tip). I'm not opposed to paying that much, but it is expensive (esp. For the Philippines) and I'm not a huge fan of the bar experience. For those reasons, I'm thinking of skipping the bars and trying my luck at pulling some company directly from P. Burgos Street. I will exercise due diligence to verify gender and age, and I'm aware of the prevalence of ladyboys in the area.
I would appreciate thoughts / input from the more seasoned travelers on two questions:
1. Since I will be "time poor" (with somebody back home keeping tabs on me), would you still recommend the dating sites (PL, Tinder, Badoo, etc.)? The back-and-forth on these sites sounds like a potential time waster, and I'm not sure what my odds of success would be in getting a girl to meet me in Makati, do the deed, and leave within a few hours. These sites also likely require a membership fee to access the full features. I'm just not sure whether it's worth investing the time and money.
2. I'm interested in getting some daytime action. I understand the bars are dead or closed during the day, so my options for daytime action are generally the dating sites or massage places. The availability of extra service isn't guaranteed at the massage places, and even if available, may be limited to a HJ (from what I understand anyway -- please feel free to correct me). What are my prospects of getting a decent girl up to my hotel during the daytime? Would it be possible to find a massage girl on P. Burgos and bring her back to the hotel room during the day, or do they normally want to remain "in situ" at their spa? Are there any non-ladyboy FLs hanging out on P. Burgos Street during the day at all?

I will try out the dating sites in free mode, set my search area to within a few km of Makati, and use Grab to facilitate transportation (and avoid getting scammed for taxi fare). In my chats with the ladies on the dating sites, I'll cut to the chase to try to avoid wasting time.
Does anyone have experience pulling a massage girl or freelancer from the P. Burgos area to a hotel room during the daytime hours? If the girls on the dating sites are flaky during the daytime and the bars are mostly empty then too, I'll be looking for other ways to get some action during the day. Philippines / Mexico. Couple of decades back, I was in Tijuana for some joy. The lowest-end of the lowest-end bars was a place called Equipales, on the south end of Ave Revolucion. I am planning a trip to Makati end of February. My last trip was in 2016 and I really had a good time. I know things have changed post covid so wanted to get some info from the experts.
Question 1 - Are the casas / dormitories still active? I remember a few casas that the taxi guys used to take me. There used to be a line up of girls at these casas that you can pick and bring back to your room and there were some cute women at some of these casas.
Question 2 - Where would you go to find some high end escorts (websites, bars, clubs, karaoke bars)?

Walking the Korea-town area immediately south of Robinson's mall after dark on Bocobo, Adriatico, Malvar, or Mabini Streets will get you hit on by a bunch of touts with placards with pics of pretty girls, offering to walk you to a nearby casa. No taxi needed. You might feel mauled by the touts, they will follow you on foot incessantly.
There are also girls on the steps in front of Araya restaurant at the mall.
FYI: Uncle Chefy resto has been closed for a few days, a complete remodeling is underway (take your sisha needs elsewhere).
