Visited a 141 girl who is a regular of mine, Suki on 17 / F of the infamous Fuji Bldg in CWB. She said business is slow. Worth a go with her guys. The bldg is under renovation so the steps to the lift lobby are bare concrete and you may run into some construction guys.
Hopefully business isn't slow for our lovely Chantik?
Suki told me she has a regular who is Japanese. A few days ago he called her up to make an appointment and she told him she had to temporarily stop seeing him due to the recent tensions between China and Japan over those uninhabited chunks of rock in the ocean. She said she loved her country and was mad at the Japanese. LOL The most patriotic WL I've ever known.
I will be visiting HK in a few weeks and for some strange reasons we are being booked by our local HK agent at the Bishops LEI international hotel. Robinson road. I am told the hotel is good clean, functional etc run by the church.
My question is has anyone stayed there or know of anyone who has and more importantly taken back our lady friends back to the hotel. So is it GREEN.
On previous occasions I have stayed at a friends place; unfortunately he is in town that week.
Appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Have to disagree with sweet Johnny.
It is fine for ladies to visit
Has small, poky rooms but is OK.
It could have been a hostel in another life.
There are a few hotels which aren't girl friendly - Having to register at reception, reception must call guest, key card access to lift.
Tongkat Ajimat Madura.
Indonesia is a diverse countries with many local traditions / beliefs etc.
My understanding is that Tongkat Ajimat Mudura is some kind herb that makes your pussy tight. In other parts of Indonesia its called jamu.
Go to any Indonesian shop and there are sections for herbs / creams. To make your pussy tight, make your skin white, make your boobs bigger. This is part of Indo culture where we think that we can change parts of our bodies with products. Also some of the herbs are used as medicines for good helath.
Its like the word Gemblong. Java meaning is crazy / silly. Balinese meaning can be sweet cake.
So there are many commonly used phrases used by both Indo's and Bule's. But the meaning can vary =depending on what part of Indonesia you come from.
Thanks for clarifying. I am a tad more positive about superstition though.

Johnny.
Think there has been a general slow-down in business. Especially in wanchai bars / independents.
Shorter bookings rather than longer bookings.
I'm Ok as long as pilots still fly to HK.

I know for a FACT that this particular hotel is NOT girl friendly at all and goes out of their way to make sure that their guests do NOT bring back "ladies."
Have you actually gone up and "serviced" your BF for the night at the Bishop Lei. And if so, you must have been particularly lucky not to have been rudely shown the door at the Bishop Lei.
Sorry Chantik. On this you are totally wrong.

So I take it its a green joint; I know the rooms are porky but I just need a clean bedroom / bathroom etc and something close to the neighborhood. Any other Hotel suggestions which are cheap and cheerful will be welcomed.
Johnny. I was in oil trading for the kicks a long time ago not anymore: and the local agent (is our local HK rep)
HK. Forum should have a Hotels Thread. Just a suggestion.

I guess I need to look around a bit more.

I last visited this hotel in 2011 - Had no problem - Though it was daytime. It may depend on how you are dressed.
I am visiting today.
Will see if things have changed.
Actually Harbourview ( Old YMCA ), Excelsior at any time are hard to gain entry. Royal Garden, Royal Plaza and Prudential after midnight can be difficult.
I will give a report.
I am visiting today.

But I am sure if I pick a bar girls scantly dressed may cause heads to turn.
Guess its different when someone can go in conservatively dressed or someone who looks less scantily dressed
Yes. This is the guy.
I am white & notice that if I enter a bar with my Indian friends they get in free. The situation was laughable because the two guys I was with were extremely successful guys & could buy & sell the whole place. They could see what was happening but didn't let it spoil the night.
Perhaps we could do our indian punter buddies a favour & hook up with them when going into WanChai bars?

I will give a report.
Those other hotels you mention as being "hard to gain entry". The main reason is that those hotels in the past had gotten just a bit too many Ladies" visiting to the point of the regular guests complaining and thus the restrictions. Note that Royal Garden / Plaza hotels are next to the open air plaza where after 11 or so, the Streetwalkers ply their ware, the Prudential is in Yaumati / next to Mongkok where WG's also abound whilst the Excelsior was one of the historically earliest hotels in Hong Kong where gals used to hang about solicting. In the Dickens bar / TOTT and even in the mezzanine Coffee area. To the point that it was ridiculous and they had to put a stop to it.
The Bishop Lei is for a totally different reason. It is run by the Catholic Archdiocese and they just do NOT condone immorality. PERIOD!
I'd be very interested to learn how you fare today. For I know that even if they half way suspect you of being at the Bishop Lei for anyting immoral, they will unceremoniously throw you out. That you went during the day and probably NOT dressed provocatively is probably the reason why you didn't get caught.
Please tell us how you fared today / Thanks
