The fact is that you can find stunners anywhere; I repeat, ANYWHERE: North Platte, Nebraska; Punta Arenas, Argentina; Chiang Mai, Thailand; Monrovia, Liberia; even the Falkland Islands. I mention these places because I am an inveterate traveler and have found stunners in all of them. You just have to put a little effort into it and LOOK FOR THEM.

If you can't find stunners in Rio, you probably couldn't find your ass with your hands. Better stay home and find release with Rosie Palm and her five little sisters.

I was in Rio last week with 2 friends one of my friend has booked Gabriella Sabatini on Barravipsrio, I have seen her she is really like the pictures my friend told me good experience but she doesn't speak english even if she always answered by email in a perfect English!

Especially from where it used to be even 1-2 years ago. Can you find someone who will qualify (to you, with whatever your tastes are) as a "stunner"? Maybe. Probably. But to my taste / IMHO the level of talent *on average* on display in the Tier 1 T's has fallen from where it used to be. I gave my hypothesis for this below.

If someone is regularly here and has recent data / reports to the contrary, that's cool and I'm all ears. Tell me where to go for better pickins'. I'm just trying to share my impressions from "boots on the ground." I don't know why everyone gets their knickers in a twist and gets all hostile.

Some of us are here to inform based upon our personal experiences. Others are here to antagonize. I have to admit, that from time to time I like to have a little fun. However, I think the issue of whether someone should spend their hard earned money coming to Rio is rather serious.

If someone could find a decent place to stay at a reasonable rate in Real terms, I would say, come on down. If the exchange rate were above 2:1, I would say, come on down. If air fares could be had for under $1000 from the US, I would say, come on down. If the girls provided the same level of service they did just two years ago, I would say, come on down. If there were even close to the number of attractive GDPs there was two years ago, I would say, come on down. The problem is that everything I listed here as a negative is true. I have had several guys who used to be 3-4 times a year regulars tell me on their recent visits that it was so bad they could not wait to go home.

Is it awful in Rio? No. Are there stunners stil? Yes, I see them everyday, but as I mentioned not in the Pay for Play scene. Is a bad day fishing better than a good day at work? That really is not for me to judge. But I think it is important for people to know there favorite fishing hole is not what it used to be and now costs a lot more.

Many of you defending Rio have not been here in awhile and even then come during Carnival which is not representative of Rio most of the other times of the year. If you live here and / or speak Portuguese, again you are not representative of the majority of the forum members.

I for one appreciate your "boots on the ground" reporting. The Brazilian economy is improving and the girls nowadays probably have better options to earn a living. When I used to travel regularly to Rio, I met many GDP's who told me that they would not be in the business if there were better opportunities. As the previous posters noted, the best girls are probably being kept by middle class Brazilians who now have the disposable income to keep a young mistress.

Unfortunately our hobby is mostly dependent on a bad economy, corrupt government, and a favorable exchange rate. Brazil has an improved econ and well you know about the exchange rate

The scarcity of stunners dictates that you should look for a GFE type and wife them for the trip. Still I think an avg brazilian is probably a stunner somewhere else, Or a stunner could be in the eye in the beholder.

My boots are not on the ground in Rio. But I have been there a month ago. I have been to Rio pretty much every year, often multiple times, for the last two decades. Yes, German FKKs are great. (I just got back from a swing through Frankfurt's FKKs.) But that party atmosphere is not there. After your session you pay and then the girl walk away in search for a new customer. Believe it or not, it can get pretty lonely ther in the presence of more than 50 very good-looking naked girls. Somebody mentioned the party atmosphere at Bernds in Honnef. I have been there and love that place, but again it pales in comparison. Even there it is unheard of that a girl would go take a shower after her session with you and then come over to you and continue to cuddle and kiss with you and offer to come over to your hotel later. Myself, I'm having an absolute blast! It is of course my first time here and maybe I'm blessed to have not experienced the Rio of several years ago or twenty to thirty years ago for that matter. I am however, very curious about Aibolit's question. Is the talent pool in Sao Paulo equal or better these days? And what about other parts of the country. Is there any where in Brazil where the quality of working girls hasn't dropped off in your estimations?

I'll be of for my yearly 3 months trip after Christmas. I'll enjoy Rio as well as many other cities in Brazil. This far I never been disappointed with Brazil in the last 21 years.
All the complaints on how bad Brazil have become is good news to me. Less gringo-mongers in Brazil is good news to me. :)
