1. They run a website that they request money for for their details.
2. They have given much of the information here to us for free (address cards etc.)
3. Some of their posts have been to summarize the scene in SH and save you going back 50 pages to learn it all.
4. Even with Patiko, they provided a service by verifying that her pics are real. I don't know about you guys but when I go to Shanghai, I don't have a lot of time there and appreciate the service.

Second: no girl work for Shanghai Guide. Our business is to give usefull informations for paid members. Same like here on ISG, paid members support the forum and can use additional service (like the privat messages or see the pictures in the threat). On our page members can get some additional informations like sauna adress cards or some details we don`t want or can not publish in public.
Third: Indpendent for us means, that a girl is real and work with a trustfull profile. That means, if I call a 25 years old girl with 47 kg and long hair, I want her to show up, and not a 58 kg 35 years old ugly lady with short hair (that`s the normal business in Shanghai). I agree that his website has the value of providing his paid or non-paid viewers a quick glance of what's out there. But unless there is absolutely no financial interest between him and the girls, I doubt that recruiting WG to his website actually benefit other members. Here is why,

That's how the market works. The girls have an interest in making as much money as possible, so it doesn't seem right to criticize them for asking for a higher price. You would do the same thing if the roles were reversed. If you don't want to pay that price, just move on and find someone else. If the girls ask a price that is too high, then no one will purchase their services and they will have to lower their price. If they get enough customers at the higher price, good for them, but you don't have to go with them.
The same thing applies to you. I don't know where you work or what you do, but if someone agreed to pay you 50% more for the same work you're doing now, I think you would change jobs right away.
