Soi 33 is very quiet at the moment, it took another hit when the recession started last year. The number of Bangkok travelers is significantly down, especially business travelers - and that hurts Soi 33 more than other areas.
As for the girls working in the Sports Lounge - we have a quite good selection at the moment, we are close to the top of a cycle. I described that phenomenon in a report in the Livingstone's Lodge thread some time ago - some good girls start working, word of mouth spreads around, more customers come, other girls join, and the bar operates quite successfully.
Then YOU BESTARDS :) come here and take the best girls out, less customers come, more girls leave, word of mouth spreads around - and you reach the lows of a cycle. It has been like this all the years we are running the show now.
At the moment we have quite a good selection - so I know already what will happen next :) !

Our beer prices are lower than those in Soi Cowboy and Soi Nana, and if you believe that THB 1,800.00++ for a room including internet access and All-Day-Breakfast is expensive (btw., if you are entitled for the ISG discount it goes down to something around THB 1,500.00++) – then you will stay somewhere else – and that is absolutely ok for me!
