Now first of all I congratulate you for asking your questions before doing any research, since all of the advise offered here is wrong. You can only trust the advice I am about to give you now. Are you ready? Then let's begin.

1. Mouse1 is correct about the Shangri La as being the best hotel, but what he neglected to say is that the best hotel is actually the Shangri La in Bangkok. Bangkok is only 5 minutes away from Pattaya's Walking Street by tuk tuk.

2. The most expensive girls are pretty and 20 years old. They always cost exactly 3, 000 Baht. The cheapest girls are ugly and 30 years old. They are usually willing to pay you 3, 000 Baht for a good time. So when you average it out, the gals are in fact free.

3. I am glad that you asked about the total cost for a week minus airfare, because it saves me the time of sending you a PM to ask how much your airfare is costing you. The Bangkok Shangri La is $10 per night but you can get that down to $5 per night if you use a coupon. Food costs are limited to $2 per day by Thai law. And like we already established, the girls are free. So your total costs $7 per day or $49 per week. Tipping is illegal. Mouse1 was close with his answer, but he should have done more research first.

So now all you need to do is save up $49 (plus your airfare of course) , and away you go!

1. Pattaya is well over 10 minutes walk from Bangkok's Tuk Tuk Street.

2. The 30-year-old's will give you a good time but the 20 year-old's will give you a bad time, so again it evens out! Thailand: crazy place, eh? (On reflection, hmmm....)

3. I had assumed that he would get Thailand's 'Stay for 6 Days, Get Sunday Free' deal.

But his major cost will be sponsoring the air fair. That's like an air show, right? Could be $millions.

L / T = rather more,or PERHAPS LESS!!! (BUT the time MAY be shorter). You choose!

3) About half as much as most other comparable mongering destinations.

Remember T. I. T. (This Is Thailand.) NOTHING is predictable or makes much sense!

Just RTFF, buy a ticket and GO. It will all become VERY clear.

I want to stay a few days in Bangkok and a lot of time in Pattaya. I was thinking of going to Cambodia and Vietnam, but I think I'll cross of Vietnam now. I do not want to spend a lot of time and money travelling around. My question is this:

Does anyone have a recommendation for a trip to Cambodia for a few days from either Pattaya or Bangkok? What cities? Mode of transportation? Time / cost of transportaton?

My apologies for posting on the Pattaya forum, but I'm looking for advice from anyone that has worked in a trip to Cambodia while in Thailand.

Also, is September / October considered low season as far as rates for mongering?

As I type this report I will make Thailand my home base of operation now this place has everything a man can dream for Rest & Relaxsation and other activities to do besides mongering which no other mongering destination offers. I started out as strictly a Latin-American monger but now I am an Asian convert, from now on I will not waste my vacation time in Latin-America it will be for Asia only and quick short trips to Latin-America. I have been here for week now and it feels like time is going by so quick even though I still have 10 more days.

Few are open later if the customers are still in there. The later you go to Insomnia the more packed it will be. Went there at midnight and it wasn't that packed. Then went back at 2am, the place was packed full.

I have been reading this forum for over a week now. I have booked my tickets to Bangkok for the second week of August and would be staying in Thailand for 10 days. I got to learn that it is the low season time in Pattaya in August. I have a few questions from the people who've experience of mongering in this Adult Disneyland.

1. Is the situation for Indians real bad when it comes to being treated at bars and agogos when compared to their "farang" counterparts (I got freaked out to know this discrimination. As Indians happen to be a good hosts to the visitors coming down to our country)?

2. Would it be difficult to access girls in the low season period?

3. The weather being projected is hot and rainy (couple of hours a day). Can this seriously affect the plans. (We're 3-4 guys planning a stay just for the sake of mongering)

4. Can somebody suggest the best places (if there is highly prevalent racism) for Indians to hang out in any specific bars or agogos?
