just returned from a month long trip to the los and spent some time in isaan.

also a very local scene but with some good coyotes.(go -gos) check out i robot and times up. you'll have a good time at either place. loei may be the most beautiful province in thailand. it's definitely worth the trip. the only sideline girl i did in loei let me eat her beautiful pussy for an hour and then left. sheeeesh. (ap court, short time hotel) but i was happy to know her. thai girls are so beautiful, they are like a kick in the stomach. and they are everywhere.

I lived in Hua Hin for 4 years. Although small, the scene does, at times have some good-looking girls, including some from Burma and Cambodia. But, at other times it can be a bit thin. There is however a local scene for Thais that is much, much better, that Farang can access, if you speak Thai. One place is Diamond Pub (Karaoke and oil/soapie massage) which is on the way into town (you'll pass in on the bus coming in) and several karaoke bars on sois going towards the beach at the north end of town near the King's palace.

But, HH is not a place to go if you're just going for mongering. The scene is small and rather subdued because it's an up-market destination for rich Thais and afterall, the King lives there.

there is lots to do in hua hin, and it is most definitely a great mongering destination for a long weekend. the diamond pub is accessable to anyone, regardless of what language you speak - simply point and have money, and you will have no troubles whatsoever. i was a regular customer there years ago, paying if i remember rightly about 1,500 baht, and got bareback for a 500 baht tip in those flush days. when i first arrived there was another such 'posh' brothel right in town on a soi near bintabhat, but it closed circa 2002 or 2003 - alas it had slightly better girls than diamond. i wonder if any others have opened? perhaps you can report.

bintabhat was cheaper - 500 baht short times, average looking girls but bareback generally available either for the asking or for extra money. i even found one or two girls who did anal, though it was difficult as there were no more than 200-300 girls working in the town then. no doubt more there now, including a [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900][CodeWord900][/url].

I recently made a visit to this isolated but pleasantly cool place. Getting there is no mean feat - I generally dislike travelling by bus, and one common route to the town involves going over the range of big hills just to its south. The road was mostly made up of hairpin turns so take Dramamine if you are prone to carsickness. Very pretty forests but I felt a bit sick the rest of the day. Better to come by way of Udon Thani than direct from Bangkok.

I never could figure out where was a 'downtown' in Sakhon Nakhon - it was a rather spread out and new town. The rule applies around the world - the newer the town, the worse it is. There were not so many cheap hotels, or at least I could not find them. The MJ is around 400-800 baht, and the 'Dusit' the same. I know it seems odd that a Dusit is cheap, but it had 400 baht rooms.

Most of the nightlife I found was located on one long, curving street. This included the comically named 'Golden Pond' disco - a youth hangout despite the geriatric cinematic reference. Right next to it is the CR Massage, a big old-fashioned fishbowl. It only had about ten girls, priced from 1,000 to 1,200 baht. None interested me at those prices. The best way to find this street, the name of which I didn't catch, is to get a motorbike taxi at the bus station (the only place they congregate), and ask for 'Golden Pond' or 'CR Massage'. At the very far end of this long street one can find Ned's Bar, the only farang bar I could find in town. It was closed when I toddled by at 1:00AM, but I hear a few hang out there, and that it has western foods.

This street contained also many restaurants and quite a few Kareokes. Normally I abhor a Kareoke, but I stoically attended two. The first had one very good looking 18 year old, a couple of other decent girls, and several older much less attractive ones. After hobnobbing with the ladies for a while it was explained to me that the cute ones were just there to sell drinks and socialize, while the less attractive ones would 'go'.

At the next such establishment further down the line I espied a girl that really appealed to me on some inexplicable level. She was only moderately attractive and already 26, but something about her gave me hope - I think it was a very mischevious look in her eye. She took me inside and - by the book - tried to sell me as many drinks as possible. She quoted 1,000 baht for short time, and I countered with 500. We went to a short time room - beware, they charged me for the whole night: 270 baht; definitely not a foreigner friendly town. There I couldn't believe my luck as I received Pattaya level service in a backwater town! Song is correct. Better to say ''song soh-phan-nee'. Song is pronounced S-oh-ng (long 'o' sound) with a rising tone. soh-phan-nee means prostitute. This is Thai.

Phoo-sao is Isaan-Lao for girl (Phoo-ying in Thai).

The watchman are time-keepers. This is the old style of keeping time and is still found in many place upcountry. I assume this was after midnight. They were striking what is called 'dtii'...hence the Thai time 'dtii neung', dtii neung kreung', 'dtii song'...1 am, 1:30 am, 2 am...Normally they would do it every 15-30 minutes.

A friend informed me that according to another forum the brothels were open again in Udon Thani, so we converged upon that city. Imagine our frustration at finding them closed again due to some assinine festival.

I did however pick up a streetwalker on the street leading to the train station for the same 300 baht fee the brothels charge. I didn't see anything worth taking, and wasn't in the mood anyway. I can't recall the locations of these places, but a tuktuk should take you.

Quite contrary to Opebo's report some 6 weeks ago, I found Buriram station excellent. There were 4 girls available at around 9pm. All early 20's and sexually attractive. HH is not the Adult Disney that Pattaya is, but then again not everyone wants that.

I had a large AC room with nice modern bath for 650 baht per night. I could wal 5 minutes to everything. I could live in this town.

Filled with high hopes after reading the brief but excellent post of our man Bumholes, my mongering team and I made our way to Buriram again. Alas we found no twenty-somethings nor anything else even remotely attractive in and around the train station or in front of the hotel there. There were about three old and unattractive women in their fourties, though to put a bright face on it the one may have been a rough 35.

I was quoted 300 (200 seems a distant memory there) but after hovering about three times during the course of the night at sevenish, nine o'clock to ten o'clock, and eleven-thirty to after midnight, there was only one girl left, who began to quote me 500! Presumabely she realized the market was constricting even more, or simply had developed a dislike of me for looking so much without taking. There was also a ladyboy in that area, distinguished easily by being far better looking than any of the women present.

During the breaks between these visits, my friends and I repaired to the small strip of Kareokes a bit further out of town. Presumably this pleasant weather will only last at most through January, so go quickly and be sure to spend at least an hour sitting around an open fire in the middle of the night with some locals.

All night my friends had been joking about how we would probably end up with 'a wall-eyed woman, with one leg shorter than the other'. Sure enough, I was finally laid at one AM by a woman with a bad limp from a recent motorcycle accident. She was quite unattractive, but at least only around 35. Her stomach was a truly disturbing sight, reminding me of a bronzed version of my own! Alas due to the bum knee, doggy style was not on the menu. Certainly in the current climate air conditioning would be a positive torture. We toured one, but unfortunately my friends would not agree to stay here, as they required hot water, and I must admit I am glad of their insistence. A cold shower is more than I can take in 60 degree weather. The 'nam oon' place we stayed was only 220, but slightly musty.

I can only assume that the excellent Bumholes was lucky in the timing of his visit. Bumholes - I envy you your 'sexually attractive twentysomethings'. They have yet again eluded me. But I shall return to Buriram one day.
