The problem with the book is that it portrays women as predators (ie. Its title is very accurate). This is a mistake because it leads men to think that they have found the exception (despite the fact that the book says very clearly that all women are predatory).

All I can say is that, in my view, it is the north american concept of marriage that is the problem, not women. For thousands of years, marriage was a lifetime bond between a man and woman. Now it is a transfer of wealth from men to women.

There's a large number of possible destinations in the FSU.

1. For mongers who have sampled multiple cities (Kiev, Moscow, etc) is there a wide range across the market? Which city has the most consistent bang / buck? From reading reports and recommendations and guides, I have gotten the impression that :

A. There's action to be found everywhere you can name that has enough people. There's hotties and uggs everywhere. Go to a small town or city, and there is almost nothing.

Be. Costs in USD seem to be, surprisingly, fairly consistent on the aggregate. If you're a clueless foreigner and you go to the clip joints, you pay US / Europe prices (200-300 USD / hour+) and get lousy service. If you invest some time and cherry pick favorites, costs seem to come down to between 50-100 USD / hour. If you invest even more time, learn the language, sometimes you can get some for "free". (you know, because she wants you to claim her and pay tens of thousands of dollars. Like buying a car versus renting for a day. Car dealers give you a test drive)

See. It is very expensive to stay in the better places in the FSU. It costs just as much or more per day as it costs in the USA. This actually distorts the value proposition quite a lot : you can find "imported" FSU women and pay them $300 / hour for mediocre service in the USA. And for 4 hours, that'll cost you 800 or so. This sounds like a terrible deal : but if airfare, living expenses, and so on are factored in, it might not really be a better deal to go to the FSU even if the girls themselves are cheaper.

2. I have mongered in Argentina. That was cheap. I think I actually paid about 85 average per encounter, and I spent about 20-30 / day on living expenses. (2010)

No socialized medicine, decent healthcare in Kuala Lumpur. Even better medical care access if you live close to Singapore. Prostitution isn't legal, but is widely tolerated. Excellent weather, excellent food, fantastic access to amazing tourist destinations very cheaply. Lots of good beaches and golf courses depending in interests and where you settle.

And you can live like a king there in a nice home with maid, cook, gardener, driver for $2. 5-3k USD including reasonable food and non-mongering entertainment budget. That's the whole point of the government program. You bring in hard currency and create employment. Most expats retiring there are Brits and Aussies.

Downsides? It's a Muslim country if that concerns you, but not at all extremist. And it's a long flight back to USA if that's "home."

Alternately, the Philippines also has decent programs and is cheap. But, it's the Philippines with all the dysfunction that brings. But Pinays are very loving partners. Unfortunately you have to deal with their families and pressures to have kids (if they are young).

Oh, I'm coming out and saying it. I think monogamous relationships are a crock, and vastly prefer open relationships. I've been on record dozens of times on this forum alone as saying the same thing.

And I will say this, the chances of a gringo coming here to Colombia and stringing a Colombian woman along like that are pretty fucking slim. People here are a lot smarter and more RUTHLESS than they are given credit for.

And Colombia is as much a part of the West as is anywhere else in the Americas or Europe....
