I second your opinion Herama. After spending more money in Photography gear than I have spent on Mongering, I bet it takes more than the camera, strobe, the photographer - the Model. With her model perfect pose would be hard to believe somebody can get taste such gem for anything less then 15-20K ! ! Thats why I posted the DSLr angle.

To all the experts at photography here, thank you for your critique. When you have the time use any digital camera that shoots high resolution pictures at 10 megapixels or more. Shoot any human subject from six feet. Use natural light (like a window, but with light curtains) on one side of the subject. Upload the pictures into a Mac iPhoto and then create an "email" attachment of the picture at a size of 64 KB (standard VGA size). Just see how easily all blemishes, skin tone and everything else just vanishes when you eliminate saturation and go to gray-scale.

Now try the same thing with an Olympus Evolt E520 and you will why people would spend eight hundred bucks or more on a decent camera for human portraits. The pictures that LastBencher displays of the women who are available for 5K in Bombay show very little blemish, don't they?

Even at my earning level I cannot afford to spend time with gorgeous women as often as I would wish. Having high-res pictures alleviates the craving.

And it reminded me of someone I had met!
