Anand, thank you for the report and the pictures. We have to accept your assessment that the girl you photographed is not the best available. What appears in the picture may compare rather well with many of the pictures one sees in the Forum photo gallery from many countries.

Yes, B-P actually has some gems but they are usually "taken" by some regulars. The LT rate tends to be out of proportion to the ST rate for that reason, probably as the Squid has noted. This may be useful for those in PCMC (Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nigdi area) who do not have enough time in hand to go to Pune city. The activity near Hindustan Antibiotics is resumed. The charges are in the range of Rs. 300/- to Rs. 600/-. The stuff is not very great and don't provide options like Budhwar Peth in Pune but okay for those who need to go for it *w*

There was a report earlier on activity near Ad-labs (Chinchwad) and Bhosari in the forum. I haven't at least found one.

Yes, you reported this place in December 2007, so I went there with a friend. The quality of the women there was not appealing enough so we wandered to the street that is parallel to Kelkar Road (the one next to the famous Ganesh temple in the area), about half way towards Shaniwar Wada. You come out from the electric market on to Shivaji Road, turn right, cross the street and then take the first left. The second building on the right is the one. Went in late at 1am to BP, parked my car in one of the lanes. I selected a slim fair gal, she took me to a very small room for 500. Thank you for the posting about getting ripped off in Budhwar Peth, an experience that is rather unusual. The 1 AM timing is not really awkward since there is still a fair number of people mongering at that time.

Which lane / building did you go to? Have heared of such things happening in the lane opposite to Shrikrishna Theatre. If you could give directions, it might help some of the mongers here to avoid such uncalled for incidents. I have until now avoided going to BP for fear of catching some infection and such incidents.

You are right that how could the number be of any use, but I would like to share out of this experience is never ever give your cell no to these pro's. When I asked for her no she just took my cell & gave a missed call on her cell so that we both could have each other's no. Big mistake.

As I drove from nana peth straight ahead crossing a police stn & just before the main crossing (if one takes a right it leads to shaniwar wada & by going left I think it leads to Shrikrishna theatre) one can find 2-3 lanes on the right hand side. It was the second last lane with plenty of pro's standing at the entrance of the lane. I parked my car in that narrow lane. One should take a rickshaw to that area to avoid such instance. One can leave that area immediately without his own private vehicle

I was returning from a party & didn't know of any other place or contact which cud provide service at 1am

It was my first & last visit to that area. It's not worth the risk boss. My peace of mind is fucked up not because of the money but of the consequences that cud have happened & regular calls from the pro's.

Been looking around Pune for the past few days without much luck. There seems to be some stuff around Sadh* Vas**** chowk, The area around main street around night but not much interesting luck. Ger*** Bak**** (no idea how to try here and would love to have some guidance)

Trying to read up the guidelines around BP as well.

Can someone help me with good hotels where I may have some luck. Budget is not an issue.

You should try just on the other side of laksmi road. There is a huge old building, I'm sorry I don't remember the name, there is a street leads you inside. As you enter just 30 or 40 meters you'll find the stuff. In this place, they will not call you even at most instances.

There is a police chowky if you just go a little further, which does not do any harm to the mongers as far as I've known.

I'm just back to Chennai for a short visit and will be back in a week. If you prefer we can jus go for a walk.
