And. Froget about big tree. Many girls are still working with police in Bamburi P. Station. Last week we had a lot of trouble there. Without asking the price-the 2 girls asking for 6000. In the end the two guyes where on the policestation for "investigation". 4000 each after 2 hours hard work. And the police came to check the room!

So take care in the of season. No tourists no money. So the girls and the police are going to be more creative to make money.

Why? Any half smart WG knows that Kenya's Finest cannot be trusted to honor any promises made and especially not to share the spoils of a sting. They keep 100% of all moneys they extort (after all, their bosses expect the lions' share for themselves anyhow and set a hard-to-reach daily minimum collection target for all their underlings) and there is no recourse the WG would have in any case bcs prostitution is illegal in this country.

Am hoping to head back to Mombasa in the not too distant future. When I was last there I had a chat with a waiter at a restaurant where I ate several times to get an idea of what he thought where the good clubs/discos to head to on the South Coast, and these are the ones he wrote down:

- Shaka Taka Club, Okunda Town Centre, supposedly the biggest club on the South Coast?

- Club Willo, Beach Road, also Okunda Town Centre

- Club Zimba, right before Club Willo

I didn't get a chance to check these out, but are they worthwhile to head to on my next trip?

Have never been to Club Willow, but heard it's pretty slow and haven't seen or heard of Club Zimba.

Diani has a much better beach than Bamburi (wider, whiter and less crowded) but I doubt whether any of the tourist hotels would allow you to bring a "temp. Guest" to your room. On the other hand, there are several fully furnished and quite comfortable appartment hotels/bungalow complexes (most with billboards on the road leading to Shaq Attack) renting for between 3, 000 and 4, 500 per night who couldn't care less how often you change your companion.

I totally agree with you, Lusty, no girls with half a brain would try such a stupid move, as she will get marked, and will find it very hard to find clients in future. In any case, the cops cannot be trusted to share the loot, so how does she benefit? However, to avoid such situations, ALWAYS agree the price before the game. If she asks for 6000, just dismiss her, and get another! It's the low season now, so no girl will ask for such a ridiculous amount, unless you made the mistake of not asking first.
