Found this new spa called "Julie Spa" nice selection of hoes no dime pieces but affordable prices is right next door to mall del Sol, for all you non locals that love going to that mall its also close to 3 and 4 star hotels.

Only had one full day in Guayaquil on my way to the Galapagos Islands, and wanted something that would be dependable and easy during the daytime. After reading everything here (thank you contributors), I decided that the best option would be Haren Spa, and I believe I made the right choice.

Everyone who works at Haren only speaks Spanish. It's good if you can say the basic necessities, but I'm sure you can use Google Translate if you are extremely limited in Spanish capabilities. Either way, I suggest sending the manager a WhatsApp message. Their contact info is on their website. The manager will text you the menu options and prices, along with hours and location. (As others have mentioned, Haren Spa is located on a U2 inspired street with no name. The google maps pin is very close though, and if you enter Haren Spa in the Uber app, it will take you right in front, across the street.).

I popped in at 2 pm on a Wednesday. There were 7 girls available, and two were my type: skinny / petite, pretty-faced, and not too old. He lived in Quito, going around by bus and walking, and his list of 600-700-800 penny chongos (yes, 6 USD a pop!) was the reference Bible of the town.

As far as I know, Esmeraldas is dangerous, dirty, and with few options for us. If you find anything, duly report day after day and you will have the opportunity to be the Tungurahua 2 of the next decade! :D

About Guayaquil, Doombringer is the only local expert who can provide information. Unfortunately, Guayaquil is not Quito and does not offer much to do, in spite of its millions citizens. I will go to Guayaquil in a few weeks. I am prepared to be bored for all my time there. My last experience there was 3 or 4 years ago, and it was really disappointing:

1) all places close at midnight, or 2 am on weekends, including "discotecas" without working girls but at least beers to drink.
2) places with girls worth to be visited were really few: El Gato, Impero, Salome'. Are they still open? Prices were $20 in El Gato and Impero, $12 in Salome'.
3) La 18 was a place to visit, but 10 years ago, not now. Last time I went there, it was fully controlled by police, no more crimes and fights, but also boring. Ecuatorians seem to appreciate mechanical service provided in 10 minutes. Wham bam thank you madam. For $12 if I am not wrong.
4) Street action poor and limited to 2-3 ladies on Av. Octubre. Nothing I would partake.
5) The mythical chongos on La Perimetral? Too dangerous, the people says, and really low-end.
6) The only option seemed to be spas and casas, where the local rich men go, but too expensive for what I got when I visited (mechanical intercourse with a decent girl, fully covered including BJ).
