Maybe we should move this discussion to Minsk thread already :)

When I was there one of more expensive places was NLO (probably still is). I would only be happening on weekends, and I found that there were always more guys in clubs on weekends vs weeknights. In the expensive places you would find more stuck up girls (better dressed though) and girls with guys who pay for them to get in. Other clubs had college nights pretty much every week night of the week.

The Black Door (I think also referred to as Cafe Vienna) was always empty, and inside it looks like an average decent Manhattan lounge with decent mix of traditional european/american food and some chinese. Nothing to write home about.

I didn't run into sponsorship at all though. Most girls were 18-21 and just wanted to have a good time. I'd slip 50 or 100K taxi money to my regulars as if I didn't have smaller bills, but I didn't have to. However recently searching 20-22 yo on mamba I'd say about one in every 20 girls looks for sponsorship. Maybe times have changed.

In Minsk you meet girls everywhere, metro, street, by McDonalds, doesn't matter really. Visa is an additional cost but I was never asked to show passport anywhere including on the overnight train from Moscow. It must be amazing now in May, short skirts and pedicured feet.. I hear a lot of them go back to their towns during summer months though.

I like them "older" and anywhere in the FSU I don't connect with people (both males and females) who are younger than 24. It is just a rule I have.

I met in Minsk many girls from Russia who study there and it seems they bring the idea of sponsorship. Many of there are interested in idea. Again most of them can not cope with competition in Moscow so they want to try it in Minsk.

When you mentioned train from Moscow keep in mind there is no border between Russia and Belarus so there's no passport checking of any kind.

Yes during summer Minsk lose a lot of it's student population, they go back home to their native cities. During June-September period many places for nigh time tend to look empty.

I'm off to Belarus soon for a few months but I plan to completelly avoid Minsk and go to several other places.

Foreign citizens would still need to have the proper visa for both Belarus and Russia. Right?

Strav yes. If you're foreigner and take a train from Moscow to Minsk no one will check your passport but it means you'll still have to have a valid visa for Belarus. Actually there are no checking at the border since there's none but there are random police controls once the train enteres Belarus. Mostly this will happen in town of Borisov where police will enter the train and take the ride back to Minsk. Usually conducter will tell them if there is something out of usual and they will come to check. I experianced this several times but no big deal if you have a visa of course. Check your Russian migration card it is obvious it is valid both for Russia and Belarus. But having only Russian visa (or belarus visa) it doesn't mean you can stay in Belarus (or Russia if you have only belarus visa) with Russian visa only. Some years ago there was a rule if you have a valid 30 day Russian visa you could stay in Belarus in transit for 5 days but it is not possible any more. A typical thing is some people still travel by train from Poland to Russia crossing through Belarus. And most of them have Russian visa only thinking it is enough. But no, at the border in Brest they are regulary kicked out back to Poland if they don't have a valid belarus visa or belarus transit visa (valid for 3 days the same as Russian).

Also there is a strange rule for example if you arrived to Russia and got the stamp in the passport and then go to Belarus and you want to go to Poland or Lithuania in msot cases they will not let you crossing the border. They will say if you entered through Russian then you must leave through Russia also.

The same is if you enter Belarus from Ukraine and got belarus stamp in the passport, Russians will not let you go to Estoni or Finladn for example through their border. This moslty happens on Russian borders in european part don't know about the situation on Russian border with China for example.

I always had my papers in order (Belarus visa stamp), went back and forth between Moscow and Minsk and there is no visa check of any kind and you are not required to carry your passport in Belarus. Next time I'll just take a chance without the visa. The visa costs 230 dollars (next day) + insurance and the consular staff are assholes.

How expensive is Ufa? Reading reports about all the oil money and foreign investments.

It's probably good idea to have one, but what's the worst that can happen. Just play dumb you didn't know, like Kurenda said the migration card says Belarus-Russia. You def need one if you leave Belarus to Ukraine or another country (any country other than Russia). This only applies to trians, you need visa if you fly in/out of the country no matter which one.

Yup, same for me. But I did have to give my passport to the hotel desk when I registered each time. Perhaps they looked at my visa.

I remember a story a couple years back about some dumb foreigner driving from Moscow to Minsk without a visa (unsurprisingly, he was chasing some dyev). They arrested him, seized his car and deported him without returning it. Not sure that's the [b]worst[/b] that could happen in a totalitarian country, but it still ain't good.

Don't mess with it guys. Just get the visa and you can breathe easy.

As a foreigner you should carry your passport with you just in case. You can imagine what can happen if you're stopped by police or KDS agents and you don't have your passport. Remeber you need to register and to reigister you will need a visa. I remember what happened to me few years ago. I have a passport of country which doesn't need visa for Belarus. I checked in hotel and the girl at reception was working on my registration checking passport. There was no visa since I did not need it and the girls was surprised. Where is your visa? I tod her I don't have it and she immediatelly called hotel security, 3 guys were arround me. Then she called police which arrived in like less than 5 minutes. I simply explained I don't need visa they were suspicious, called foreign ministry which confirmed I don't need visa. Everything went well but can you immagine what would happen if I really did not have a visa. The answer is Emanuel Sezner, jew lawyer from USA. Last year he was arrested in Belarus and sentensed to 5 years in prison for document forgering. He had old belarus visa, didn't want to bother getting new and changed the date like the visa is still valid but he was caught. And also there was a Italian who served 3 years in prison also for visa problem. The case Pizdyets mentioned sounds like the easy one.

Belarus is not Russia or Ukraine, things are more tight and different there. In Russia you can get away with money since in Russia everythnig is possible for money while in Belarus not everything is possible for money. I had KDS coming to my place in Minsk checking my passport, no serious problems their excuse was always "there's a problem with your visa or registration".

In Belarus they are very fast to give you 5 or 10 year ban on entry and the problem this ban is valid fro Russia also.

Sean about Ufa it's no Moscow of course. But if compared to other places around it's not cheap. But also it will not squizee all your money from the pocket. There's oil money but people who have it usually spend it in Moscow. If you choose Ufa as your destination go for it. You can either not like it and never go back or like it and return there. I've been to Ufa several times but for few days each time. I will go again for sure and I wouldn't mind to spend some more time in Ufa.

It's certainly cheaper than Moscow, but it's no bargain. Mind you, Lukasek stayed for several weeks on the budget plan and had a ball so there you go. But very very few people speak English in Ufa regardless of the oil biz there.

In the provinces, if you limit your sponsorettes to strictly 18-19 year university and institute non-pros, or only the most expensive new/model type escorts service dyevochkas 18-19 years, AND are willing to go above and beyond when necessary to ensure you don't hear them say the word, "nye magoo", you can expect to add minimum $3000 per week to your local province capital city economy.

You will be quite popular too as a beloved benefactor. And after 3 weeks at that pace, that is, minimum 2 full GFE's per day, you will really need a long rest, if you are not a young energetic monger anymore.

As I've already mentioned, this budget does include all expenses except airfare, but includes rent for a nice apartment in the very heart of the center on the city's main street where EVERYONE walks right under my balcony, so any girl that agrees to come meet me, means I need walk no more than a half a block to get to her. Ok, so I'm the world's laziest monger, but I need to save my energy for other activities. ;)

It is not much more expensive than Samara and for free if compares it to Moscow, cheaper than Piter too, even if in Piter you have for example many places where to eat and in Ufa you will only end to eat to the couples of the two most expensive ones, cause the others look not so good.

However ok, just to make you understand better, even in top notch club as Jet Club, the prices seem to me even better than in Prague, so very affordable.

Obviously if you drink only Dom Perignon, you are gonna to expect to pay a lot, but even if I like good food, I drink beer or Coca Cola, as, it seems to a paradox for me, with all the wine I have at home, to go to pay 2x price to get half quality LOL.

On the disco of second floor of Jet Club, if I remember well a cocktail was about 5 euro, now with ruble weaker, even cheaper.

The biggest price is accomodation, as I saw in every city in the provincies, only very expensive hotel or shitty flat: I choose the first in Ufa and the second in Samara as you know from my reports...

P.S. Actually I do not know if to wish you to go there and to report and make me want to go there back or if to go end of summer directly to termas girls in Rio.....very hard to decide, cause it is the choice between top notch quality of pussy, russian women, with no feeling of holiday ( I got so boring in Ufa during the day....) or to have less beautiful women, but to live at 25 hours per day, including swimming in the ocean, hot weather and GFE with terma girls....we will see....

If you want high quality/glamour/exclusive you'll have to pay it no matter it's Moscow or Ufa.

Compared to Samara Ufa is more expencive. Not for the prices at night clubs. When I compared prices in the supermarkets, electricity costs, apartment rent (for local people), electricity costs, even car registration and insurance all this things cost more in Ufa. Most probably in Ufa payments are higher and also there's some "city tax" on everything.

In Jet club prices are normal for typical foreigner from the west but also they have very expencive drinks like "12 year old whiskey" with the price of 70 Euro a glass. Lukasek tricky dilemma I know what you mean. Last summer when I was in Samara I met there two girls from Rio and we had some great time if you know what I mean.

maybe another reason why Ufa is a bit, not so much for me, more expensive than Samara it is also cause we compare a normal city with a capital city. No much matter the country you consider, but capital is always more expensive and has better salary too.

However what was so funny, that in Ufa, Samara and Piter 1 hour with girl, no matter if tochka from the first two cities or from privat apartment in the third city, everytime they costed me between 1500-2000 rubles, this is something everybody should think about very well before to decide where to go....it is like to say that Mac menu has almost the same price in every Mac Donald's but some of them are so far that to get there, indeed the same stuff it is gonna to costs you much more....

Yes Lukasek it is like that. Thinking that p4p will have lower prices in russian province is not always right. P4p prices in provinces seems to be dictated from Moscow. Many girls who are serious about p4p and are living in provices simply go to Moscow because they can have more customers there of course.

If Ufa for example there will be far less clients than in Moscow so p4p keeps it's price. Only some very low and suspicious quality (drug users, drunks, etc) can have very low price in provinces like 500 roubles or so.

Yes girls from Rio in Samara. How? Samara they have SGAU which is Samara state aeronautical aerospace university which which is of high quality. There are small number of foreign students there. Mainly from 3rd world countries. I met this guy Rodrigo from Rio last summer, who was student there because he plans to later work brazilian space agency. He had a really hard time in Samara being there and simply could not adapt to the local way of life.

The thing is he had a two girls from Rio coming to Samara to visit him and staying for a month. One was his half sister and other a distant cousin. Brasilian guy was busy with his unversity exams and asked me if I can show the girls around because their russian was non existing but they had a solid knowledge of english. So I gladly showed them around and we had a great time in every possible way if you know what I mean. I'm not expert in brazilian girls but this two looked good in my opinion and have those amazing brazilian butts.

Lukasek photos are nice and no it's no muslim "church" on the photo. The correct word for muslim religious object is mosque. But building on the photo is medresa, muslim school and it was build with money from Saudi Arabia.
