Has anyone been to Toukaen-Toukakyo-Shangri-la recently and have any recommendations on ladies? I used to go with Yume or Ruru but I'm interested in trying some other girls. And has anyone tried the other places that are in the same building?

At first, I would like to present some few thougths about the fuzoku industry and how as a gaijin, we should behave. These things had been presented over and over but let me remind them.

3. Read, understand and follow the rules. They are usually written in the website. Rules depends on the shop but basically honban is forbidden (except in chineese joint and am) which means no penetration. People who tried to do this, japanese or gaijin, will be in a serious trouble.
4. Be polite. EVEN when you are not sathisfied or rejected by the owner. Always thanks the girl and the tenshou.

This is very important especially fo other gaijin. If you screw up, gaijin won't be accept in this shop and probably in others as a consequence. So don't be egoiste, it's not because you didn't like it that we have to suffer the consequence. It happens many many times because of some assholes who leeches information, are rudes with the tenshou or the lady, don't follow the rule and that's why people are reluctant to give nice address now. I don't mind that people use the information (I did it) but be fair. It's hard to find good place, it takes time and for me, some courage because I'm always scared to screw up things.
Even when I follow those rules, I'm often rejected, it's life. I'll try another one. Go in the morning or between 2 and 5 in weekdays, it's when the shop is a little bit slow and when the chance to have 1 japanese customer and 1 gaijin at the front desk at the same time is low. Remember they don't want gaijin and they don't want to show that they accet gaijin.
And the last thing, Learn japanese and your success rate will skyrocket. Then if you're not fluent in japanese, and especially like me in reading in japanese, I suggest a very nice plugins for firefox. It's called rikaichan.

I came from Tokyo to Osaka yesterday. It's my first time here. I did my shukudai and try to go to different shops near nihonbashi. I was really amazed by all the shop in all those street. I couldn't find my way.
A nice things about Osaka compare to Tokyo is most of the shops have the map in their website. I don't really like to call a shop before I visit, I'm not enough confident. I couldn' find any of the one I picked up because I didn't write any address. A big mistake. So I decided to go to a chineese massage joint I saw when I was on my way. Just near my hotel, there is a street with 3 or 4 different shops, all of them chineese or korean. I picked one by chance. The name is mirei. It was on the 3 or 4 floor and it was a copy of paprika in tokyo. 1man, 1 hour with honban. The tenshou was not surprised at all and told me that one american is coming often. I paid, went to the veary small room and my chineese lady came. Her name was Aki, 26yo. She was not so beautiful but very nice. We chat a little bit and she asked me where I was from, I told her but she didn't know where it was. I was very surprised as it's a very big country in Europe (no more economicaly though). Then I had a kind of bad feeling and I couldn't really appreciate the time although she was a very nice girl (but keep telling it's big it's big)

Can I recommend this shop? I don't know. I don't really like those kind of shop, I'm not at all in honban. I did regret to spend 1man there and regret that I didn't do my shukudai right. After returning to my hotel, I search for information on chineese esute shop. There are everywhere and probably most are gaijin friendly even with a low level of japanese.

Suggestions:
1. RTFF
2. Buy your JAV outside of the country. It is nearly impossible for a gaijin who is only there for a short time to find the uncensored stuff because it's illegal, and I'm assuming you don't have the language or cultural skills to make the hookups necessary to score "the good stuff."
3. Go online and check out which bars are referenced in Kansai Time Out. Or you can run a search online for "Osaka Nightlife Guide." Those are the gaijin-friendly bars. (Although I can't think of a time I've run across a gaijin-unfriendly bar. I think you mean English-speaking bar. Unless you are worried about stumbling into a yakuza-bar or something like that. The clip joints that rip off foreigners are nearly all in Kabuki-cho. Avoid aggressive African touts like the plague, but then I can't really remember seeing them outside of Kabuki-cho either. Point of clarification - Kabuki-cho is in Tokyo, not Osaka. What I'm trying to say is that places that prey on foreigners seem to be limited to Tokyo.) If you are looking for a bar where J-Girls gather and wait to snag and shag a gaijin-guy, I think you'll be sorely disappointed. It's not like some parts of Thailand or the Philippines. It might have something to do with Japan being the world's second largest economy.

5. RTFF. You will find that folks here are rather unforgiving of newbies who come in and ask broad questions that have often been answered in detail previously. Just a friendly tip.

I have benefited plenty from this site, so I feel that it is time that I contribute. This is also a good chance to advertise the two girls of the day, Mimi and Manma. They surely deserve it.

When I lived in Osaka, my experience with DH was pretty good. As long as you speak Japanese they will usually serve you. The problem (and it is much worse in Tokyo) is if/when they find out you are a foreigner they may try to stick you with a fairly questionable girl. If they start telling you the girl you want isn't available, but they have another girl who the are sure you will like, beware.
I was at Osaka Fats last week. There are enough instructions here in the forum to find it. If you find the YWCA you're within 50 meters of the Kentucky Building. The stairs are rather narrow and steep but I found the place OK. The manager that day was a woman who speaks no English. You definitely need rudimentary Japanese skills here if she's working. She will ask some basic questions like if you understand the rules, where you heard about the shop, etc. I don't think it would be advisable to go there without any Japanese skills. She also said it depends on whether are there any girls available who will service foreigners. She showed me two pictures and I chose the heavier one because her face was cute and if both are overweight, it really doesn't matter how much at that point. We get to the LH and shared the bath, she gave me BBBJ in the bath which was nice and then we went to the bed. She did have rolls of fat around her mid-section so this place is not for the faint of heart. You need to be able to tolerate a fat lady, that's the way it is. I thought I had posted until I received a PM from Ozboy asking about my visit.
Anyway, my visit was pretty much the same as usual. I arrived around 9:30PM on a Sunday night. I got about a 10% call rate. That said, if I calculated the call rate based on quality of the girls, the rate would be much lower e.g. as the quality goes down the call rate goes up. IMHO, the hottest girls are not interested in gaijin whatsover. The call rate is also higher on the less traveled lanes.
After walking around for about an hour, I decided to try Maki. She was a 6/10 on the lane just next to the small park. When I first went in, the mama said, "condom only".
