Bogota Reports

You know I feel bad for Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, They can never really hang out in Santa Fe without condemnation.

Anyhow, I went out last night with a couple guys about 11.30 last night. (I usually will not be there past 11 p) Just got back it's 2;30 am.

We checked out the south stroll first, there was a smattering of chicas about 1/6 of usual, definitely could have had fun.

Did a walk through and proceeded to the north stroll, there was some activity maybe a 1/7 of the usual but still some hotties.

We went to Atonis first. Some very hot live young girls to have fun with. I would have happily stayed but the guys wanted to check out everywhere so we moved on to Troya walked in there was 10 girls some hotties for sure. La Casona had about 6-7 girls, was quieter, but still good.

Moving down the club row, we walked into Paisas, many a beautiful girl in there 20+ chicas. My friend had a girl at Fiebre so off we went, Fiebre was really off the hook, tons of girls like 30+.

LOL, there was a raffle for todo la noche con tu favorita tickets for 10 mi, I did not win;.

Hanging in Fiebre was a lot of fin though. We were able to hang in the VIP area get lapdances (20 mil) and observe all the really beautiful girls. Photo attached.

After that we went to the new 24 hour bakery on calle 23 between CR16 and CR16 a for some breakfast. This is my new favorite hang out, good food and fresh fruit juice.

Definitely stop in for the guanabana, lulo, guyava or maracuya juice en agua if you have not tried those fruits before. Colombia is a Country for old men!

A good practice when walking into these bars to look is to tip the waiter who starts following you around wanting you to sit or buy a drink, (I save my 1 mill notes and coins just for this).

I will slip it to the waiter and say estamos bien, queramos ver ahorita¨ the waiter will give me a thumbs up and ease up. This 30 cents will has bought me a lot goodwill. I have many waiter friends in SF.

YMMV My airbnb host has warned me to stay in my hotel on November 21st, not sure why? Just thought I'd put it out there, maybe he is overly concerned because I stick out like a sore thumb. A big sore thumb. LOL.

I think you may have forgotten to attach them.

I'm debating staying in myself. Or going the other way and uniting with my friends here with yellow vests on.

If you do go out, look for the people with the yellow vests. They are out there to keep the peace and to fuck up anybody trying to hurt people or damage property during the protests.

Colombian breakfast is different from North American breakfast, by a country mile. For one thing, they almost never have cold cereal, or cold anything.

The only thing in common is the eggs. Often they will have short rib soup, or even beef liver or bull penis soup (caldo de pajarilla and caldo de raíz). Other common options are Changua (a soup made with eggs, milk, bread and cilantro) or a nice tamal with hot chocolate, my personal favorite.

You can get American English or Irish breakfasts here in Bogota but you have to probably go way out of your way and actually pay a premium like 30-50 k just for breakfast.

It's not as bad as some people here crack it up to be, especially if you don't get drunk and go with at least one other person.

10 years ago it was way worse, and I wouldn't have recommended walking around at night at all.

I still wouldn't take my phone out in the middle of the street though.

Is Bogota worth going to, especially Santa Fe with next to no Spanish?

I have pale skin, blonde hair and blue eyes, so I have no chance of not standing out haha.
