You can still go to Chapinero massage places or casa during the day and take uber to the clubs at night or just stay up in Chapinero and enjoy a nice restauraut or craft beer. It good for a couple days.

Seach for Routards report it gives you everything you need, my first trip to Bog used it and I had fun.

You should do your research and set aside the racial / ethnic differences that are bothering you. If you are that concerned then maybe you should stay where you feel comfortable.

If youŕe worried about safety just stick the clubs in Santa Fe and youll be fine.

Standing out has to do with many factors, color being one of them. Blond blue eyed Colombians do exist, but its not the most common. Aside from language, the way you dress is probably the easiest way to stand out or blend in. You can change your dress but not skin color. Colombians come in many shapes and colors. In my case, physically, I look like an ordinary type of Colombian (of the many types there are), but I when I first came, I stood out because of the way I dressed and wore my hair. Since then, I've modified my dress and hair to match the locals.

Coffee not so great but OK (no machine).

Also lotsa hot girls always coming in. I stop in often for bread and to eat.

Calentao is another breakfast option although it's a little less common.

Went to Troya and Paisa Club on Friday. Paid the 10,000 pesos cover charge to enter Troya and got a free beer from the door man for my cover charge. Saw and conversated with a 22 year old slim girl from Caracas, can't recall her name but posted 2 photos. 80,000 pesos was contributed in a trip upstairs. Was wearing a wedding ring and said she had a one year old daughter, was working to support them in Caracas. She said she was not making much money because she did not have big tits or ass. After coming downstairs I saw a girl named Paola standing by the door, she was a beautiful 10 and sucking on a lollipop, but had a stuck up attitude; I tried to talk to her but had no luck. Then I went to the bar and ordered a Coca-Cola soft drink. Gave the bartender a 10,000 pesos bill. She said it cost 20,000 for the bottle of coke. Decided that was too much, so I left and went outside, saw Paloa outside Troya getting some food from the grill. Still she was not interested in talking; went to Paisa Club. Asked the doorman if all the girls were from Medellin and he said no, some were. Went inside and looked around, but did not find anything exciting and left.

Strange that cover+beer is 10 k but bottle of coke is 20 k!

You can buy it in many places now and it is not made of leftovers but it is supposed to look like it. Just take rice, and chop everything else in small cubes, meat, potatoes, plantain, beans, etc. Add some oil to a pan, fry everything, mixing and put one or two fried eggs on top to serve.

You can also hace caldo de pescado, a fish soup with sliced potatoes and a bit of milk. Quite nice and healthy.

In most places you can have for breakfast some really nice soups like mondongo, a soup made with the stomach of the cow (previously cooked in the pressure cooker to make it soft and chewable), potatoes, carrots, peas, and cooked for hours; mute de mazorca, a soup made with fresh corn (nor american corn which is somewhat sweet but a local non sweet variety), pork feet (which have been previously cooked in the steam pressure and deboned) and carrots, peas, potatoes, etc; cuchuco de trigo, a soup made with whole wheat and pork back bone (which have been previously cooked in the steam pressure to make it soft), and peas, carrots, potatoes, etc. Those soups are usually cooking for hours so the result is delicious as all ingredients have really met and melt for a very long time creating a very tipical flavor. Sometimes they are cooked in wood stoves which adds a wooden flavor to the soup.

You think it is meat balls, but on the menu it is listed as "sopa de testículos de toro" or "criadillas". Important to know these words if you are squeamish and concerned about what you eat.

If you watch the video from the search "Bogota santa fe" on youtube what I saw there Saturday night was those same streets, but you couldn't see the graffiti on the walls there were so many girls standing and waiting for you. 75% of them fit my bill. There were hundreds of girls out, it was the day after payday and it had rained a good bit the whole week. The streets aren't very well marked, I seem to orient myself from the red brick building in the video with the diagonal wall on the corner and red doors. I'd pack a cheap little compass with me and bring a hoodie and dark clothes. You always have Monserrate as a landmark to the east also. I've been out since then and no one has tried to bother me, I guess I got a cold from one of the strippers that night though and I've felt like crap for the last two days.

They give extra strength, like a shot of testosterone.

Long story short. ***** tried to up the price after agreeing to 150 k. Was barley in the pussy 5 minutes. Police was called took my side and kicked her out. Don't take her. I knew her from ctg. She wasn't a puta. But something happened between then and now and she's a working girl now. I tried to still pay even when I didn't but. Just to get rid of her but she wanted to act crazy. I guess she thought the police would take her side because I'm a gringo. Always get things in writing no matter how long or how you know them. Here is the link to her page. Avoid her at all cost.
