Great gelato as well) and they both seemed a bit lost with the menu. This one girl I took to the arepas place in Bocagrande was drunk so she started dancing with me and taking photos by the finca display like we lived out on a coffee farm. It was hilarious.

When I meet with prepagos in Medellin its completely different. They already have an expensive restaurant picked and have plans in place on spending my money to be wined and dined. I guess the heat makes people act differently.

I'll happily pay more in Cartagena for experiences like this.

I haven't been to Elektra yet but I am told it's the new Space. Lots of working girls tell me they prefer going there as it is cleaner. Some drama at La Dulce Vida. Only 3 working girls. Isis is full of flacitas for 280 an hour at the love motel around the corner.

Although it's off season and you can get bargains for far less. Barely any tourists.

Isis is a point and click strip joint. If you don't speak Spanish and want thin girls (flaquitas) then go there. You will have zero trouble finding it. So many touts will guide you there. The price is 280 k and the girl takes you to a love hotel. All you need is Google translate to communicate.

Otherwise after midnight the clubs start going.

Elektra and VIP are the most busy with girls, but you can ask the bouncer to take a look first before paying the cover charge. Thursday through Sunday are the busiest nights. Monday and Tuesday are dead.

The later the night gets the cheaper the girls will be.

You can easily get a girl now for 200 or less. There are very few tourists and lots of hungry mouths to feed.

I looked at your Google map. Elektra there is marked in a different place than the old one, so it could be the place of the new one.

By the way, I notice that LDV ("La Dolce Vita" in Italian, not "La Dulce Vida" in Spanish) and Space are inverted on the map, one at the place of the other.

If you look in regular Maps mode it shows LDV on Carrera 6 just north of Calle 35 but if you go down to Street View it shows Space there. I'm more confused than anybody, I have not visited Cartagena in a while. Did LDV move out of El Laguito into the Old City?
