Stakeout, I've been in Pattaya for 3 days. It's rained for about 20 minutes each day. Rain hasn't been a problem.
There is a gogo bar in Walking street called Happy which has 2-3 dancers who are best described as coyotes. Their dance routine is more coreographed than the others', and they have props and body paint.
I have seen these girls accept lady drinks but I have never seen them being barfined. What is the reason for this? Is their asking price for ST and LT very high? Or aren't they barfine-able?

Now to your question: yes, I had the good fortune to be in Pattaya once when the place was full of US Navy sailors. For the most part they behaved themselves well and there was very little, if any, fuss. You should try it some time. Yeah, so every once in a while (once or twice a year) the Navy boys hit Pattaya. So what. This doesn't mean that there will be signifacantly more mongers making the trip all the way from the States for a week or two of mongering.

Yes I was talking about expats living overseas (Europe and Asia) traveling to Thailand. Also I have been there during Cobra Gold several times and decided its not the best time for me to be in Pattaya. Maybe we are the number travelers but we are the number spenders when it comes to traveling.
And finally,"you mofos" are the countries that the USA helped out after internal conflicts, wars and natural disasters have decimated their economy and way of life.

I'm a American but I recently saw a article relating to Americans and their travel. It was stated something like 10% of Americans actually have a Passport? After living here for a number of years and meeting different people from around the world and listening to their stories I might tend to agree with that number. I have found although others are no different that us they tend to travel more abroad for work and holidays and more open minded to other cultures because of that. I have travel throughout the USA and found that many people particularly working in government seem to have no idea what is going on outside of the world.
A few years ago I was at the USA Embassy I was in a interview with one of their young reps, How long she had been living in Thailand I have no idea. But she was basically telling me I was a liar although I had a letter from her boss in the USA backing up my contention. Not wanting to be rude I told her you might want to go back to our country or pay more attention as to what is going on back home. This was before Obama and before the financial meltdown!
I have never had any problems with any soldiers in Pattaya, I have met many and the majority are good kids and guys and are blowing off steam. It is no different than any individual that has worked his ass off all year and come for a holiday to blow off and clean their pipes for a few days or weeks. No culture or race has a lock on being angels or the devil?
To answer the question, As a American the Mofos he is talking about in general are the countries in the MiddleEast that are given money to keep peace each year without any accountibility. (I don't need to name every country) Entitlement institution like the U. N. NATO, that we pay the highest but get very little in return. Recently we want to forgive 1 billion to a country, we forgave 50 billion to Pakistan so that we can flight over their country to get to Iraq? We give and forgive? And continue to give not loan them 20 billion to a country that their people didn't want because they hate us. I found out we even gave China 500, 000 for them to study the behavior of P4P, you believe that? But reality is this as Americans our representatiive want to be number one and can't except anything less so we pay the world to be our friends when so many aren't. Yes our country is or was number #1 but our dollar is the shits for many reasons?
When you look at the stats you will see when it comes to travel, Americans majority travel within their own country and go camping etc. When you speak to govenment workers that handle your pension etc. And you tell them you live in Thailand, they have no idea what it looks like outside their own little box?
These opinions do not support any particular person and their discussion its just my opinion on a situation you or I could ever discuss with a satisfactory ending.

A warning to all. 2 nights ago a fellow monger I met on the pool in Diana-Estate, called me 3 am on the internal phone of the Estate, interrupting some good action with my sexy Lek. He asked me to come over to his privately rented room immediately, as he felt seriously ill and dizzy. I headed over to his room and soon suspected what must have happened, as Diana-Oasis has very good security warnings in all their studios and I actually had read all of it.
The very strange and nervous behavior of the about 30 yr. Old, heavily tattooed girl he had in the room, raised my suspicions immediately. My friend was down on the sofa, looked seriously out of it and could hardly speak. When I asked the girl if they had drunk too much or taken any pills, she got very evasive first and then openly aggressive and just walked out of the room. At this point I did not add up all the facts and was more concerned about the well-being of my friend, so when security called, I told them they could let the girl go as my friend was sick.
After a few more minutes I finally got out of him, that they had been drinking in a small karaoke place nearby and the girl had offered him some "Herbal Thai Whisky" for extra power, just before they had left to go back to the room.
Arriving at his room he soon started feeling very drunk, dizzy and tired.
As I got very concerned, I called the manager of Diana-Oasis, who is very nice and she came soon with a friend of the owner. In the meantime my friend had totally passed out. The guy Kh. Meow brought, was aware of the situation and immediately told me, my friend most probably had been drugged to be robbed. He checked my friends vitals and stayed with me in the room all night to keep an eye on him, in case we needed to get him to the hospital.
He explained me that every year there was cases of naive mongers, mostly newcomers, who had been drugged and after a case with one of their customers, an elderly American a couple years back, that got totally cleaned out the second day of his retirement to Thailand, they had posted very clear warnings in all studios and even made it a point to explain new customers, not familiar with Pattaya, some of the dangers. Apparently there is some veterinary knock-out drops these girls use, which leave the victim out of it and with memory laps for up to a full day. Many of the ladies come down from Bangkok and / or disappear for a while after a successful rip-off.
It feels definitely much more scary when you experience this first hand and not just read about it in the Pattaya press.
I was glad for the help I got in the middle of the night from the people of Oasis, which obviously care about their guest and seem to have a lot of experience, according to the stories we exchanged during that night.
So what to learn: NEVER accept any drinks, brought or bought by a girl. I was told, usually the trick is to get a last minute drink from a nearby 7/11, just before entering the room, as the drops can take affect very fast.
By the way, my friend was slowly getting back on his feed only the next evening and could hardly remember anything. Thanks to his last minute phone call, his valuables are still with him. Thanks for the great help to Meow and her people. You are a pearl.
I enjoy a nice soapy, body massage once in a while. Just tried out the place that used to be Honey-Inn hotel. No more need to go all the way to the Big C / North Pattaya area and some of the older places. This place is brand new and they had some hot chicks, definitely will be back.

If you want to ask a mamasan which of the girls are shaven, or ask a girl if she is shaven, how do you ask this in Thai?
I am taking my girlfriend to Pattaya in a couple of months (yeah yeah, I know it is like taking food to a restaurant.) and she is up for pretty much anything exciting. Any suggestions out there on what could be a cool place to go to / activites etc that works for a couple? I know of all the standard stuff but would be really grateful for tips on stuff that is "out of the ordinary".
We have done a fair amount of swinging in Europe and she has already said she will get a couple of girls for us to have fun with.
Anything else? Excellent shows, special clubs? Any places that caters for women (also)? Any swinging clubs?
