Curfew started tonight in Bogota from 9 pm till 6 am. Only exception is from or to the airport with taxi (no uber or private car) and boarding card with a valid flight.
Protests started with Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia and now Colombia. If history is the guide, it would take minimum of 2-3 months to return to normalcy.

I came to Bogota on Thursday.
There were ten of thousands peaceful protesters.
And the at night hooligans started to shatter the bustops in the city and loot some stores throwing molotov cocktails and throw cobblestones at the police.
Yesterday night was the curfew. Nobody was allowed in the street until 6 am. The night was quiet.
Some girls were working in santafe but there was a feeling that street fighting was imminent; and it happened few times between the protesters and the hooligans.
Today Saturday no demonstration but many stores are still closed.
More girls are working in Santa Fe.

It has been a few interesting days. The feeling I get is that most people just want to go to work and are annoyed by the strike.
It seems there are many leftists and anarchists dickheads trying to stir up trouble but they seem to be failing. They busted up a few Transmilenio stations and spray painted some graffiti. This has not helped their cause.
I think things should be back to normal this week. Yesterday, the SGs in Santa Fe were out in force during the day and while the scene was quieter last night, there were girls.

Think about it, it's a place called the Tolerance Zone, specially made for prostitution. It's like going to the grocery store and shopping for food. Only here, you're shopping for girls. The only things you'll need are the abilities to walk, screw, and speak basic Spanish. This is one of the easiest places in the world to monger. The only place easier (imo) is Jakarta. Don't worry, bring your favorite condoms, and enjoy yourself.

I went out tonight grocery shopping in Santa Fe. Walked by the South stroll not super busy but definitely quality about 7 pm or so.
* Decided to checkout a bit of the main area, ran into one of my Streetie Sweeties. And decided to have a little fun.
