OK guys please understand this is not a complaint, just a heads up to inform you if you ever rent from one single bedroom in Torre Centauro.
Be prepared to go to a laundromat to wash your towels after two days as only three are provided. So if you have one Chica over the first day you will be washing towels the second day! May 10,2017. On the ride to the airport this morning my taxi driver told me there was going to be a countrywide taxi strike tomorrow protesting the use Uber in Columbia. I have no idea if this is true or not but why would he make it up? So plan accordingly!

Cartagena Report First week of May
I arrived May 1st with my friend in Cartagena. It was labor day in Colombia so a good day to switch cities.
[B]Apartment[/B]
We stayed at a Palmetto building. Generally these buildings are quiet and good to stay at but not chica friendly unless you register the chica as a guest (same as yourself). Alternatively you can also register them as visitors. Curfews for visitors vary from 10 pm to midnight. Don't bother trying to bribe or argue your way out of the curfews. There will be a receptionist (typically female) and at least one security guard working with her (I've seen up to three). You would need to bribe both persons and get away with it. These buildings are fine for bringing in day game insofar as they are Colombian or in Colombia legally. Try bringing in a Venezuelan with an old stamp on her passport and they won't allow her in (or worse notify immigration). Yes, it's that bad.
This forced me to always use love motels at night when going to Centro; however I slept very comfortably, with zero noise issues except Monday night as the Colombian family on my floor spent their final night there. They had no respect for their neighbors and routinely yelled and ran in the hallway.
[B]Day game[/B]
I had contact with three touts. Two I had known from before, and one I had gotten his info from another poster. It turned out two of them worked together at Playa Hollywood: Edgar and Jason. Jason speaks English and Edgar does not. I was asked to make a choice between them after I bought a round of introductory beers and chatted a bit. I stuck with Edgar since I felt I had dealt with him before, that being said Jason seemed fine as well. In fact, Jason didn't want any tips until I left based on his performance.

Cartagena continues to be a favorite spot for me. The tourist areas are very safe. 200 k isn't that much when prepagos in Medellin are charging about as much.
