Not being American, I don't even know the difference between a gopher and a groundhog. Prairie dogs I might manage to recognise but have no idea what hamsters are (I have to assume similar to guinea pigs). But most ISGers surely would think of "beaver" before rabbit. :D

I was totally shocked at the zoo to see Capybaras were classified as rodents despite huge size.

I could be quite wrong but I thought most rodents were in the scurrying category where as rabbits and hares hop in a totally different way. Perhaps they would be quite different in the ears (rodents with much smaller ears in proportion to body size) and maybe jaw/teeth are different. Rodents have to gnaw on things but rabbits probably don't.

So where I come from, rabbits look nothing much like rodents, without really knowing what is true definition of rodents.

This is actually a good point to talk about with TG's. I always let the girls do the shopping. The ones that bargain and bargain hard I usually keep around, or atleast get a big check mark in their favor. The ones that fork over whatever the shop keeper asks I usually ditch very soon.

There are lots of non literal equivalents to "arsehole" but really none of them can be recommended:

etc.
