Ho-beach in front of Othon Palace have extremely few pro's compared to how it used to be.

Jay[/QUOTE]I was there this past October and the taxistas in front of Meia Pataca call GDPs to the area if you ask. It's all really discreet. And there are a couple of dudes Washington and Luis who work umbrellas and chairs across the street at the beach they also call girls if you request. This is less discreet as someone mentioned " the American and their dates have arrived" LOL. Personally I rather not take chances w picking these girls up in the street or Balcony I prefer termas.

Anyone coming to Copa expecting the plentiful, easy supply of GDPs of years gone by is in for a rude awakening.
Things have changed a lot here, driven by the economy and the strength of the Real.
If your impressions of Rio were shaped a few years ago, you may want to rethink your holiday destination.
It seems like the occupation of Rocinha will start on Sunday. Hopefully it goes smooth fully. The traffic will propably get f*cked up.

It has the potential to be a nice hangout destination (like the good ole days) , but will require some GDP inertia. Although the some of the Balcony girls do use the washrooms at Mabs, so you will see a few of them pass through.

The last few times I have been on a Saturday the gata selection was poor, the best thing was the feijoada! I'll stick to Centro and Tijuca.
