Thanks for all the inputs
Thanks everyone for all the inputs, this is super useful! Leaning in to make it two hotels now, will decide shortly. Def not getting comfort on Marriott Exec basis the nifty hack by Aimara and no real reports on the forum. Thanks again.
Cheers,
Ct.
This is not a fool proof method, however a guest policy check which has been reasonably reliable for me when booking hotels in the Middle East is to look at the room booking page for the hotel on Expedia. Choose the hotel, click so that you are on the room options page and then scroll all the way to the bottom. After the policies section there is another section called Important Information. If the hotel is non-green it will normally have a note (or not) on registered guest policy under the sub section titled 'We should mention'; for the Marriott Exec apartments it states only registered guests are allowed in the guestrooms, which indicates to me that this hotel is probably an amber and potentially red.
Looking for a Change of Scenery
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My birthday is coming up and I'll most likely will be spending it in Dubai. I normally stay at the Burjuman Aarjan or the Park Regis as a back up. Never had a problem with either. This time I'm looking for something a little more upscale (The Burjaman CAN be a little dated style wise, though I love the kitchenette.) and still with easy access to the action. If it has a kitchenette even better. Given that it will be in the middle of summer, the prices won't be that bad. Thanks in advance.
Hotel recommendation in Business Bay
Gents,
I was perusing the Hotels thread here. Appreciate hotel recommendations in Business bay. Also, Read a post on Hilton business bay. Is it red, orange or green. TIA.
