Yes, LA, it is the same SPA we are talking about. Funny thing about English name of the shops & roads in Taiwan are simply according to how it was pronounced in Chinese, eg. NanKing E. Road = NanJing E. Road. JinHua Sauna as in Chinese, and Wensa Sauna as in English(that's what reflected in the bill), or even Windsor Sauna, if you wanted to call it. They all are the same GOOD OLD SPA we loved. :)

I usually use the Hong Kong forum but I will be making a short weekend visit to Taipei in september. I was wondering if anyone can suggest where would be a good place to stay. Budget is about $150 for 2 nights. Also having nver been there does anyone know where I can easily get some action? I don't want the hassle to freebies so P4P is good.

I must have lucked out since I used Yuki last year and found both the appearance, attitude and service (albeit not GFE) from the girl she sent to be satisfactory contrary to several subsequent posts on this thread.

Yuki immediately came down from 5k to 3k, the girl was there within 20 minutes and stayed an hour plus.

I've seen several other numbers posted from the newspaper. I will be in Taipei next month. Has anyone tried any of the other providers with good results? Has anybody tried any of the other nationalities on offer e.g. Japanese, Korean, etc.?

Finally, I wonder if the Chinese girls from these services are local or from the mainland. The girl I had said she was local Taiwanese, but I could not verify that since I do not speak the local dialect, nor speak Mandarin well enough to detect an accent. Any ideas?

OAH, you must have indeed lucked out, although to be honest stopped using Yuki's service a few years back, so my comments are now well out of date, so maybe things have improved. Yuki has always come down in price without to much hesitation, so nice to see things have not changed there anyway.

Undoubtedly there will be the odd Da lu mei, but most stick to the local trade unless have been here for a good while and learnt english.

If you fancy meeting for a beer whilst here, drop me a line via T1234, he has my mobile etc, being a regular member still, I lost my access to PM's, so we cannot use that avenue, although it depends on dates, am actually going your way to Shenzhen in mid September.

As has often been mentioned in the Taiwan forum, Taiwan is a poor place to monger. I spent 3 days there and came away disappointed.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt anmd went to the Ziga Zaga bar two nights and never saw any WG. There were lots of girls but they were with their boyfriend or grlfriends and did no seem to be working (did not try to make eye contact). I was there on Wed and Thursday nite from about 10:00-12:00. Thursday night was supposed to be good because of ladies night but it wasn't. Several WSG recommended Zigi Zaga but it was a bust for me.

I walked around the area around the hotel and went down to NewYork. I didn't see any girls at all. New York was supposed to be a pick up place but it looked like a shopping center to me.

Taiwan is very poor compared to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia.

Ziga Zaga has always been a bust for me. Better opportunities at Carnegie's or Brass Monkey. If you feel very young, go to Plush or Room 18 - at least lots of eye candy there.

I now have a regular freebie in TW hence I have not been able to partake in the scene much for the last 4 months, sorry.

I have to repeat again - if you want to monger and you don't HAVE to stay in TW - go to China.

I think as long as you are a paying member, you have access to PM. I was able to pm a newbie with some advice for LOS over the weekend, he only had 4 posts and it went through.

I suspect Taipei Trav turned off his pm feature - you should ask him when you hook up with him (again).

I am not a paying member, hence why I don't have access to pm, and also probably why Jackson won't upgrade my account status, despite a request suggested by OAH to do so. I would not turn off such a valuable resource :D

I'll be in Taipei from this sunday-wed aft, staying sunday at the royal hsinchu, and mon/tues at the Westin Taipei (then off to S. Korea..Japan..back to sex prison). My first trip to Taiwan last year was completely dry (2 days) but I'm hoping to fare much better on this tour. Having said that, are there ANY and I mean ANY good recs on spots to check out, agencies, locations, etc.. I'm looking for a high hit/success ratio. I'm also up for hanging for a brew with anyone while I'm there. I'll be sure to post my experience (as I have in the past).

Am now back on PM as antied up the $12.95, was not the money, just the principle of having to pay for something that is free on almost every other site that I use.
