Auto correct changes "Da Dang" to "the Dang", it just did it and I've had to edit this post three times to correct it. I also seem to remember someone complaining about the same thing on here.

Someone deliberately programmed the forum to do that, just one of many such short-sighted changes that got made to spell checker here. Another super common one is when it changes "ID" (as in Identification card) to I'd (as in I would).

A few years ago I had same idea in Cambodia, when Sihanoukville was the clear #2 place for mongering but didn't have a thread, while Siem Reap (crap) did. I started a thread for it, and it's alive and well still.

That said, the other places in Vietnam are going to be pretty weak in terms of posts and info. We barely get posts in HCMC.

Using the search engine would be a easier alternative than starting another thread for what will be a total of 2-3 posts each year.
