Where is Via Show? Is it a normal nightclub or a place for working girls??
Gotta 2nd this post....its more about the monger, not the GDP's....
It's more about novices that don't really know shit about the scene and will defend it no matter how bad it gets IMHO.

It's about a R50 taxi ride into the North Zone. Normal working class younger crowd ,( many of whom are incidently GDPs ) plays mostly Funk Music. Good place to meet regular girls particularly if u have some Portuguese. The ground floor piste can be dangerous , the second floor camarote costs a bit more and is safer. Beer is very cheap usually about R1 each and lots of people tend to get very drunk. If you go with a girl walk her to the toilet and wait for her , she'll get mauled. Top Mc Funk Djs play. Belo often does live concerts there.
I have been to Love Story many times, and don't know if it is bigger or not, size wise. I am glad that you have found it "bountiful", I on the other hand haven't returned in almost 2 yrs, because only once did I pull a GDP that was worth the effort.
I will agree it is louder and after about 2-3 am more crowded, and it does have it's charms. I still prefer Help, maybe becuase of the beachside setting, or the ability to retire to the balcony to chat, or maybe because I have had better experiences with the Help GDP's. Viva la difference!!
Via show is a good club on certain nights, the nights you want to watch out for is when they have fight club "Lado A vs Lado B" Its where two different gangs dance on opposite sides of the club and later duke it out with occassional security organizing the fights. I have heard on occasions people come out of these fights with broken arms, knocked uncounscious etc...
Here is a small clip, some parts of the clip show via show.
Love Story in Sao Paulo is almost a big as Help and has always surpassed it in EVERY way : wilder atmosphere, much higher girls level (this is where GDPs from SP upscale clubs go to hang out for late-night fun and possibly make a last buck), more crowded, better music, better clientele, better service, ect.
It's the greatest "secret" in Brasil in regards to nightlife, and simply the best pick-up club on the planet in the history of mankind, bar none. No need to cry over Help.
I made a few posts about LS over the years in the Sao Paulo thread, the last one a few monthes ago :

Love Story, just like Help must be experienced. It is not for everyone. No, its not as big as Help and it does get VERY crowded! Sometimes you can barely move. The music is more dance, electronica, euro trance, and some hip-hop. It is the place where the GDPs go after the clubs close but, there are also other things going on that you may not want to be around. It is also not in the best of neighborhoods. Not for unescorted newbies (maybe if you are fluent in port). Had a drunk GDP hit on me, but when I left with someone else she threw a drink at me! I once left at 6:00am and it was still packed!
Via Show is bigger than Help
True.
And so are also lots of other clubs in Brazil, like the forró clubs in Manaus and Fortaleza.
Mucuripe Club in Fortaleza makes Help look tiny and very lowclass.
What is wrong with the music at HELP??
Music at Help is techno crap for uninspired and tasteless mid-aged gringo mongers, that's all.
Love Story doesn't play in the same league.
It's simply one of the two most "in" after-hours (with Lov.e) of the South America's clubbing capital, and the music you hear there matches this position.

I can't believe you let yourself get baited into asking this question!!! Generally speaking I enjoy all the music I encounter in Brazil. I'm on vacation, and there are tons of women around.

What is there to defend?? My original point was, that it gets old when people post the same silly stories about how bad things are in and around Help. I think it's more about so called mongers that complain and don't know shit. And some of these same people only frequent Help and the Termas. This is their only experience, and since this is bad, the entire scene is bad. Copa encompasses more than just the strip of Ave Atlantica.

I would say that it gets old when people make up sensationalized accounts about whats going on down there. But to each his own.
In fact nobody here as refuted my statement. Yes, we're all aware of the options OUTSIDE of Copa, but I was talking specifically about Copa and only Copa, yet people take offense as though the own the whole strip down there or something.
Agree to disagree. No harm done.

Actually, it just depends on a guys likes and dislikes.
LOVE STORY is for those who dig the electronica, trance type scene.
Though it's an interesting place for sure, it's not my deal.
To each their own really, just because you dig a certain place or it's music, doesn't mean everyone else is tasteless just because they enjoy different venues or music.
I met a girl today from http://www.riosexsite.net/d_pagina.asp?c=179&n=Luma+Toledo A very good experience. I called her 2 days before to mark and she came litle late because was traffic but called me to inform me. I opened the door and she is as much exciting as the fotos from the site were make me think! Nice figure, nice face, nice smile, nice sun tan with the famous "marca de bikini" hehehe!
Everything what she announce on the website is offered and always with smile. Well a good company. Maybe little more expensive than a help girl but at least nothing to be disappointed. I'll see her again at the end of the month. You can even tell I send you if it help as we had a good time I guess she remember me! Hahaha!
