Went to the Bois de Boulogne by car last night, March 13th. It was freezing cold outside. Some action started around midnight, mostly TS, some straight girls, but real small quantities. Escapade, second visit

I went back the next night at about eleven. There were three couples there and the women all made Janet Reno look hot. There was a good porno movie playing and I watched a couple of scenes before leaving to try another club.

The impression I got from talking to people and from seeing for myself is that there isn’t much difference between the clubs that admit single men. If you try the same club on different evenings you are likely to have completely different experiences, and if you try different clubs on different evenings you are likely to run into some of the same people since there are ones who go out often and visit different clubs. All clubs seem to have good nights and bad nights, with the bad nights being more frequent than the good nights. Think about it. I totally agree with you, the quality and reliablity of info is absolutely fundamental.

Well, it's not totally dead - if you're gay. A friend of mine ( who is) tells me that in his circles it is considered one of the best cities in the world for one-time adventures.

As a very frequent business traveller- more than 20 visits last year, I can confirm, that unless you're willing to change affiliations or fork over at least 250 Euro for a decent escort, the Paris mongering scene is dead. The only outlet are the swinger clubs and Catalyst's excellent review of his experiences, aptly describes the scene - Swinger clubs are always hit or miss, unless you make some effort beforehand to meet some of the regulars via the internet (the Paris scene has a multitude of chats and introduction sites) or become a regular at one of the clubs. There's no sense trying to avoid that- it's a fact.

A few comments on Catalyst's report:
1) The scene is very diferent on weekends - I assume that you were there on a weekday. Many more younger particpants, but most of the clubs also limit the amount of single men or forbid them altogether. I once took an escort to one of the clubs on a Sat. nite and had a very different experience.

2) You tried 3 clubs that are in the main city quarters. I find that the clubs further out of the city center like Quai 17 are less runover with desperate single men.

3) I've found my best nights at clubs like La Cheminee which are usually closed to single men, but open twice a week for "trio" nights. But make sure that you call in advance or they won't let you in.

4) Always bring your own condoms- this isn't Germany. If you forget, at most of the clubs they have a supply of condoms at the bar/reception.

5) I applaud Catalyst's commitment to the hobby- a walk on a winter's night from L'Escapde to Prelude no small effort.

And finally, it is impossible to get to the city by taxi, train or bus, have sex and then return to CDG all within one hour. At most times of the day you're lucky if you can go in one direction at in that time, even if there's no public transport stoppage, and that's without sex...Then again, by helicopter....

It seems that the Sarkoboys are quite active at present. I drove around on last friday; it seemed to me that these cyclist stops cars as soon as they see them twice. There were about 5 girls in the area.
