Interesting, because I have a Filipina friend, now in Europe, telling me that her gf in PHil warned her that Phil is NOW dangerous. I guess the Internet sensationalizes things a bit, but also helps out too. It seems like the couple in Cebu arrested for murder are going to be cleared. I have to think that a big part of this was the bad publicity.

She and her friend travel internationally fairly often so they definately know what paperwork is required and always have it in order before heading to the airport. Given her past track record of successful travel and her statement to me (as well as from her police woman friend) that they wanted money to let them go, I believe it. Espically since I still get to listen to her complain about it to this day. She was royally pissed off about it.
I have heard similar stores of incidents happening at the Manila airport but this happened to them at Clark.
This may or may not have come up before, but does anyone know of a gym in AC where one can work out?

In my visits the girls on stage sit on the edge of the stage during breaks and block the dancers from view. The layout of the seats suck and the attitude of the staff sucks even worst.

[/QUOTE]That is because most of the basic hotel were built years ago and have never been update or truly cleaned. I heard about guys getting sick in AC and I wonder how much is the hotel they choose. Mold, mildew and dirty mattresses. Also, I have read many reports on AC boards about theft in budget hotels. One guy reported he came back to his hotel late with his wife of the night and did not realize he was at the wrong door and his key opened the wrong room.
One of my first 14 day stays I choose a budget hotel and I got food poison eating in the restaurant (only food I ate) and I learned my lesson.

Its out by the pool area and its not very big but it was useful for a quick workout before a swim. I remember one guest there had his own bottle of Jack Daniels behind the bar and would take a couple shots and smoke cigarettes just before going into exercise. I thought that was funny.

Just return from 3 days in AC with another travel buddy. He is a member of this board but wishes not to be named (yet)
First thing I notice is not as many cuties this time around as previous trips. Still some here and there but takes a little more time than before finding what I like. My friend is more picky so he had more complaints than some on this board about quality, although I had to agree with about 90% of his complaints about quality and attitudes from some of our gals.
2nd thing I notice is more and more of the Fields bars have upped their BF prices. Gone are the 1500p BF and more and more have raised to about 1800p or so.
The bars at Perimeter are not yet affected by the recent price increases so now perimeter bars seem much better value than before. But selection in Perimeter is still more limited but still something to consider.
Seems more police patrols than before but looked at news and not more crime so not sure why the extra police. Or could look at it this way instead, because more police patrol then less crime to report-maybe as this is just a thought.
Decided to start at perimeter with my buddy 1st then work our way back to Fields (as the prices are cheaper during happy hours).
Stargate: nothing there to keep us from staying. We walked in and didn't see anything but older / fatter ones, so didn't bother to stay and order a beer.
Next went to After Schools, not always my favorite but my buddy couldn't resist the title of this bar. Went in and saw the usual gals on stage dressed in school outfits and some had white socks and sneakers. Gals were ok in looks but the outfits turned on my buddy so had to stay for a few beers. We ask 2 gals over to join us and they sat on our laps as we order a LD for them.
Chatty gals and my gal sat and wiggle her ass on my shaft to get it hard (hint hint to BF her). But it was still to early to decide so told her I might come back later. My buddy couldn't resist and BF her gal right there after his 1 beer and LD. He smiled at me and I knew it meant he was going to the hotel with his choice. I smiled back and said go ahead and have fun and see you in the morning for breakfast.
I stayed for another round of beer and LD and more chatting with my gal before leaving for Fields.
Went to One eye Wench in Fields as I have not been for very long time. The overall quality had improved from 3 old grannies (last time visited) to just one old grannie and several younger staff, including 1-2 cuter waitress. Decided it was ok place for me to spent some time. Sat down with my cute waitress and order a beer. Was about to order a LD for my waitress but lucky ask her 1st and she said was a virgin =cherry gals (damn as she was very cute). She said would like to stay the nite with me but only HJ. I said only HJ and not even a BJ? No, she said as it was also a cherry mouth-have to admit always a 1st time for hearing everything.
She wanted to know it this would be ok and I said "Hell NO", and added do you ever get any BF at all? And she said all the time. I said no way and she said some of the Koreans have no problems BF her for just her HJ skills and to be able to sleep next to her and they will also tip her well for this.
Well, say no more. I finish my beer quickly and left.
Went to Club Lancelot next and saw a few potentials. Once again sat down and order a beer. Saw one that was ok by my eyes (even after 5 beers) and ask her down from stage. Ask the usual questions 1st before ordering LD, any early morning clinic, period, you cherry girl etc etc. All answers were NO
So sat down and order her a regular LD. Turns out not to be much of a talker, unlike all the other chatty ones this nite. Couldn't decide if she was not really into me or just shy. Didn't want to take a chance so after she finish her drink I said thank you and pointed at another gal who had smiled at me several times while I was sitting there.
Turns out she was more friendly and chatty so I BF her as it was now close to 11pm (damn, where did the time go. Only thought it was 930 or at latest maybe 10pm).
Back in the hotel she was not a real performer. Not what I call a starfish but not a performer. Friendly though but also not as chatty as in the bar. Finish 1st round and she wanted to watch some TV. OK as I went in to clean up and brush teeth etc. Came out and she was asleep already, that was quick.
I didn't feel like 2nd round right away so slept next to her and plan to bonk her in a few hours in middle of nite.
More tired than I thought as I woke up and she was already getting dressed. Looked at watch and it was 8:30am. I said stay for morning round but insist she needs to leave. I also insist she stay as we agree to 10am leaving. She said didn't remember the time limit last nite and thought I said 9am, but I pointed to time now only 830 so have time but again more excuses. I knew it was pointless as will continue back and forth until 9am or even 10am.
I let her go but at the door she said what about my tip. I said you are kidding right? And she said need tip for trike money home. I said I usually give that to all my gals I was happy with but not you so I said goodbye and closed the door.
Called my buddy to see if he was up for some breakfast but turns out he was already eating breakfast with his gal from last nite. I ask where he was eating and got dressed and went out to join them.
My buddy was happy with his gal so he plan to be a faithful boyfriend and BF his gal for another 2 nites. Oh well, guess I'll wing it alone and barhop and shop and prowl again tonite after dinner like a "tiger" was meant to do.

Follow up report:
I've been reading about all the arguments on % of runners and such.
Let me tell you from my personal experiences that Runner are on the rise. This last trip, I had a runner from Lost in Asia (a perimeter bar). She answered all my questions correctly and even had nice eye contact, and chemistry at the bar but once the 1st round with her was over in the hotel that was the end of that.
My odds for runners so far from my trips to AC seems to be about 1 in 10 up to 2 years ago (10%) and now the odd have gone up a little more recently.
On my 3 nites here, I've had 1 runner. 1 non-performer and 1 very GFF.

The incidents that I have heard about were as follows: (I) one was a WG going to visit a friend in Thailand for a holiday, (ii) one was a WG coming to work in HK on an entertainers visa issued in HK, (iii) two were coming here to work as "tourist" girls in the discos, and (iv) one was a family friend coming to visit us here in HK. They were travelling on a mixture of airlines and from both Clark and Manila.
None were asked for bribes. It was just PI Immigration being incredibly tough. (And PAL seems to be toughest on the passengers as well.)
