I usually take the bus are going back to central station or even go by foot to Darmstadt Nordbahnhof. Never got problems so far in the night. Five weeks ago I took a taxi back to the central station: the fare was fair - 9,60 Euro.
Had a busy day and arrived at Sharks about 7 pm, this place was packed and I think I got the last parking spot near the entrance. Changed and went in. There are many more girls than men this time.
