Too many newbies asking the same 4 o 5 questions.

The Personal attacks have to stop! I think most of this comes from people (finger pointed at the new kids) not understanding sarcasm or humor. TIP for rookies: When something is SO ridiculous in a post it's hard to believe. Don't believe it! It's probably a joke!

Granted I've had exchanges with OG members before too but I've always tried to carry myself as an adult and supported my opinions and ideas with supportive information! Try using logic and reason once in a while. They work!

New Kids and Rookies MIRA! Here is all the info you need about Medellin!

1) First time to Medellin? No Contacts / Friends? Don't Speak Spanish? Stay at Casa Blanca (or what ever it's called) or Franks Place if you're on a budget they make easy for the clueless.

2) If you don't speak any "REAL" Spanish then you are not going to pick up any local Colombian chicks! How would you? Even if you had a great time and you ask "let's go back to my place" she'll have no clue what you're saying or if she asked you "Let's Fuck for Free" you'd have no clue!

If you're some Old-Cheap-Fat-Gringo who is in bed by 10pm you're going to pick up any Normal girls either.

If you have to ask "How" or "Where" to meet local or regular girls in Colombia you clearly have no clue how to pick up or even meet women ANYWHERE so guess what? You're not scoring in ANY CITY in COLOMBIA! Or any place at all!

This is not the DR or Puerta Rico, or Mexico. Believe it or not some girls here are not impressed by your AFFLICTION shirt and sun glasses you're rocking at night! They're not even impressed with you being a foreigner; this isn't rural China or Korea. There they are still amazed at your American Blue Jeans! STICK TO working girls! However, in spite of the "myth", I have not seen a ""local"" couple with an age difference of about 20 years too often. Honestly I do not remember any single encounter. Maybe, that is more likely to happen in upper class circle, which I have no contact? Most couples I saw were in the same age groups.

As for gringo-local couples, I think their age difference is often 30-50 years. I am not sure if it is accepted or not, but I think it would draw ample attention. Anyway, nobody should interfere where supply and demand meet in a legal and civil manner.

I've been doing more lurking here than posting lately, mainly because the mongering game is at the bottom of the rotation cycle and its time to lay low. Fortunately I jumped in this game a few years ago and learned the language along with a love for different cultures. I'm just part of the cycle, whereas before me was a completely different breed and now its a new different breed.

Mongering was originally created by old guys who had retired, raised kids, and divorced their wives. These older guys wanted to live out their final years in a paradise of young, beautiful women and a tropical climate. They settled into the culture, spent money, and learned the language. These older guys knew how to keep a secret and stayed away from younger guys. My Dad and Uncles had been coming to the DR for years to play golf (wink) and never told me anything. I'm 40ish but have learned the secret recently about keeping my mouth shut.

Then came the internet and exposure. But the spotlight was focused on Brazil. Beautiful women who fucked like champions. Further exploitation came from porn and the hip hop crowd. Now young guys were maxing out their credit cards and delaying paying their rent, to take a trip to the "new spot". It stopped being about culture and expirience, and became more about fucking a pretty girl for an hour. GFE was out, and sport fucking was in. The older guys retreated to their planned hideaways and stayed away from these newbies.

Now that Brazil is transitioning away from its past reputation, guys are looking for the next"Spot". But you can tell by the veterans who have defected from these internet blogs and by the increase in newbies that there is a new cycle taking place. The veterans have had enough of the bullshit.

But wait! Medellin is not Brazil. And the Colombians will never let it be such. People have to tuck their tails in Colombia or else you will be going back to the States in a body bag. Also those that don't care about learning Spanish are left to hang at the Mansion with a quick stop at La Mayorista or the casas.

The Older guys started this game and the younger guys fucked it up. But as the older guys operate more covertly, slowly you will see the new breed digress to "back page" and "Craigslist" to buy pussy in their hometown without the expense of traveling, thus completing the cycle back to the beginning.

On his description, sorry, but I, like others, just found it to be sound very gauche and tacky. Maybe he's a charming, handsome man, great for him, just the wording I found rather awkward. I will leave it at that.

As far as my "assumptions," well, if he is 21 he is at least the age of a college student. Can we agree that not many men in their early 20s have the combination of money to travel and a strong desire and / or need to seek foreign ass? If you've got money and looks, you can get laid at home. If you've got no money, you can't travel. If you've got money but not looks, maybe you're more motivated to seek it out.

So, in reality, I assumed nothing about him in particular. I only spoke to his broader question of the age of mongerers in MDE or any part of the world, really. There are not a lot of good-looking, young guys with money and well-adjusted personalities whoring around in developing nations. Is that a fair statement? I think so, and it also answered his question.

I'd gladly field his questions however he should pause a bit more before asking them. I'm not old either and started traveling at his age also so I'm not trying to be an asshole just because he's young, I just think he could be a little more thoughtful in his posts and I am beginning to think the same about you.

Internet. You're right. These days, the internet makes it almost too easy to get info about the latest hot spot. The hoards start showing up and the experience changes quickly. I was lucky to have experienced Rio before it was overrun by Gringos. I'm a late comer to MDE and though it's no Rio, I think I enjoy it nearly as.

Much because I'm more competent in Spanish than Portugues.

Why would anyone have a problem with old guys? I'll be one soon enough and as long as I can still get it up, no one is going to stop me from wanting to bone hot 20-year olds.
