Heading to PP next week for the first time. I'm looking for input on 'Must check out' places. I've been reading and taking a few notes but thought an easy access list would be nice while I'm out and about.
Thanks.
Really depends on what your gig is. But since you asked, here is a suggested list.
1. Darlin Darlin: High end (relative to rest of the places) nightclub inside Nagaworld 1. Read the threads for details and approach strategies.
2. Pontoon: Most popular nightclub in town. Does not get going before 1 am. Several reports on the thread about Pontoon.
3. Cruising through streets 136, 130, 5, 118, 110, 104. Barhopping highly recommended if you want to find the proverbial diamond in the rough. Top 10 Notable bars would be Alaska, Tokyo, Intoxica, Angry Bird, OneThreeSux, Ponytails, Loco, Dragonfly, Airforce, OneZeroFour.
Pay attention to your drink and your tab at all times. Keep a close watch on the dollar bills you give out and the ones your get back. Taking pictures of the serial numbers of the notes you are giving out helps.

Form the last two or three times I was there a few weeks ago I really don't think it starts going till 2 or 3 AM. That's when the Darling chicks and some of the bargirls (I. E. The pretty girls) start arriving. Before then there really weren't to many attractive girls (at least IMHO) I came around 12:30 and 1:30 and was left twiddling why thumbs for a couple of hours before the real options start coming.
I think the same was true the night we all went with our mutual friend and his sweet bargirl. If I remember correctly we all bailed just before 2 AM to get back to the bars (where we scored some nice company for the night. .
Also interested in massa252. Did you check it out?
No I was not able too. I look forward to your report.

Thanks.
I went to Soul KTV / Massage once with a Khmer friend who had his own car. He got full service from a very nice looking lady in the massage part. We both enjoyed the KTV. Take out or meeting up later was on the menu in the KTV. You might want to check it out. I suspect most tuk tuk drivers will know where it is. I wasn't paying attention, but I think it's around the Nagaworld part of the city. Here is a link to a YouTube video, part of which was recorded vis hidden cam.

Hotel advice
Booking through Agoda and it has so many areas. I'm obviously looking for the most central nightlife area. Does any of these sounds familiar or good for areas.
Doun Penh.
Chamkar morn.
Sangka tuek.
Couple others too. Maybe their all on top of one another. But why can't travel site have an option for partying as a reference.

See where all the bar are located? That's where you want to be. I stay on 130St or !36St.

SS.
Went to a KTV with friends also. But not one connected to a bar. Was strictly a KTV. All girls available for take out. Unfortunately I can't tell you where it was as I was in PP as I was in PP for the first and so far only time. I do want to return.

As a point of reference, I always stay at the Lux Riverside Hotel and Apartments on St 136. Ground Zero for the bars and within walking distance or a $1 tuk tuk ride to the other streets. The Lux could not be more convenient unless there was a hostess bar in the lobby. LOL Those bars start directly out the front door and across the street maybe 60 feet away and go for a couple of blocks. Some guys like the Sun and Moon Hotel on 136; but there are many, many options on the streets noted above.
Loved exploring the new country by day.
Stayed at Naga One. Never again. But no issues with girls as they are all over the casino. Great night with Sandy.
What was the issue with Naga 1 that you say never again? I am going there tomorrow night so should I be worried now? It's only for a 1 nighter before I move to another place and I been to the naga's before but never stayed there.
Will report this week also about my days in PP. Hopefully it be a decent time.

I have no idea about that hotel's guest policy. No matter where you book, I suggest that you email the hotel directly and make sure you can bring overnight guests if you book for two. I always get straight answers to straight questions.

Context on PP
Spent two weeks teaching. I keep academia and hobby cleanly apart.
Brought 2 girls to my room, one of them 3 times, one of them once. I am not much of a monger and am also not the most confident while at it.
Basically Blanquileste's report is concise, compact and true. I only add.
If you look to save money for short time below Pattaya, do not come to Phnom Penh. Less variety. Poorer English. Phnom Penh is good for a change, for a new experience, but it is not a better deal.
Hotels: Lux Riverside is quiet & convenient. Only 80 US $ apartments have windows / balcony to street. US $ 50 often has no window. Book cheap. You can always upgrade.
Which bars are hot and which are duds varies rapidly. The precise recommendations even by Blanqui are not very helpful. You must sample and taste yourself.
Clubs like Pontoon and Darlin Darlin. Deep freeze aircon. Go there only by Tuk Tuk and take a sweater. Very noisy. Darkish. Hard to judge the girls' quality. I love to walk in the sweltering evening heat. I sweat when I get anywhere. I cannot relate one yota to Pontoon or Darlin Darlin.
Nagaworld is one notch worse. Glitter palace with Chinese high rollers and a few hookers sitting at the bar disfigured by make up and high heels. I would never muster the courage to approach anybody there, and my member would refuse service. I like my girl below 20 yo, plain, smallish, slender, little makeup, you see is what you get, poor. Not at Nagaworld.
Bars are much better. Outdoorsy. You can sit or stand in the great night air.
The girls shout at you brother", more like brazzaaaa". I first wondered why they would not shout „sir", but they have trouble pronouncing word endings. In the US I would be hesitant to use the term for racial connotations, just do not want to offend anybody. I learned the Cambodians address one another as brother as an expression of empathy. So do not take offence if they call you brother. Even if you go to the same bar 10 times, the girls' chronically alcohol diluted brains cannot remember your name.
Nevertheless, you must wonder about the fabric of Cambodian society. You order a coffee for not so cheap 1. 25 US $. The guy at the counter shouts at you: „ay o ho? I reply „what? „ay o ho? Hmm. A colleague comes. „ao o ho?" I finally get it, „ice or hot?" and reply „Hot". Is it really too much to ask to pronounce a single vowl and a consonant? Cambodia is in lazy, disoriented, purposeless funk. Not everybody, but most everybody.
The cutest girl in town is 18 yo Nica, a server lady at Cheer Sportsbar on the corner of 136 street and the street lining the Mekong river. Page cut. Maybe 5 ft small. She cannot be convinced to go with you, but she is darn cute.
As stated in many aspects on this forum, all bar girls are 18+. Strictly enforced. All carry ID, ofen in the smart phone protector between phone and back of protector. The prettiest are between hard-to-get and unavailable. They only live on drinks. The story that virgins cost 5000 US $ is told over and over. I suppose there is truth to it, only the price tag looks embellished. Not sure.
The very pretty ones often have a Chinese or Japanese sponsor. For them travel logistics are much simpler. Of course they are bored by their sponsor and want to live the sweet poisenous bar life to be with age peers. Those are often the ones claiming not go out with men. It is all a grand symphony of getting respect from their peers. If the girls are pretty enough, they feel they are better than that. But with discretion and perseverance, there are many grey zones, and 70 US $ for 2 hours of blizz and 2 thorough, refreshing showers are appreciated by the girls.
ST vs. LT. Basically PP ticks on ST. I had one forgettable experience with a girl who preferred LT, but this was just a money extortion scheme. Be with the guy for 2 h and get him off. Then back to the bar for dinner and drinks. Then sleep in his hotel room and breakfast again at the bar with drinks. No thank you. Dumped her. I also resent the girls poisoning their brains with alcohol in perpetuity from the early morning hours on.
Anyway, I met my 19 yo 5 ft2 superbeauty from December, but she was very hard to convince. Complicated. In thrall to so many myths and imagined liaisons. I received 10 000 hearts and emojis but could not get her to bed. Finally, a man of wealth, taste and perseverance, I prevailed and we had a marvellous bare back GFE session with great sights and delights. Worth the fight. Man only develops passion if he has to fight for it. Encouraging how long and how an older gent can be if the setting is right. With girls this tiny, their feet and toes are a constant sight when her legs are locked over your shoulders. I am developing a little fetish there. LOL.
In the meantime, asked a tuk tuk driver to show me out of district brothels and he was delighted to show me venues of sad and past reknown, but he did find me a 19 yo 5 ft stunner who simply loved sex and offered everything there is imaginebale. Had her three times, real GFE.
Chinese New Year is low season in the red light district. Chance for Western punters are better in that time. Cambodia is commercially and politically entirely enthralled by China. China is a civilizing force in Cambodia. I see Chinese influence as benign.

SS.
So what you're saying is, don't go to PP? Thank you for the lengthy report, but man I got so confused by your back and forth of your report. I must have missed the point. I'm a long time kind of guy and love AC, but sounds like that is really not something Cambodian girls do. Anyone want to please clarify of LT is available in PP and what I should pay?
