Also, don't ever worry about the potential for a law suit. It would be much harder for her to sue you since she has nothing and not many attorneys would take a case like that on contingency.

It may well be that only "reports" in a particular kind are encouraged here while other kinds of reports are "subconsciously" and "unintendedly" discouraged. It's a little rough around the ages, like an old beauty, but the staff is very nice. It's like staying in a resort with a huge swimming pool, tennis courts, good workout facilities, and yes it is chica friendly. They insist on registering all guests, and last time I was there several months ago they tried to charge me extra for my novia even though I had booked for two. Got it quickly resolves, but that just proves that you aren't isolated from the bullshit endemic in Colombia, even at the Intercontinental. Now about the $500, depends on what it has to cover? $250. Per night for intimate company? If that's true, you will have so much that you'll have to get a to go bag to take back the extras.
