Also, what's the difference between a hotel walk-up and 141 walk-up? Just the building?

However some people live in equally small and crappy places, and you will sometimes find old people or families sprinkled around in an otherwise mostly 141 building. However you will never be confused as to who is who. 141 girls have a reversible sign on their door that either says "ring bell" or "please wait" and they all have some kind of identifier on the door like a name, photos, description etc. You will know immediately. The doors are closed. But if you ring and she answers and you don't like what you see, just move on. The girls expect this. I always say something like "thanks, bye" but most dudes just walk away without saying anything.

Girls with phone numbers CAN be booked in advance but none of them NEED to be booked in advance except for the hotel girls. For hotel girls you have to call the number to find out which hotel and room number and make an appointment.

There are plentiful 141s in most areas on HK Island and in Kowloon and in certain areas in the New Territories. For whichever district you go to, have a few buildings picked out ahead of time. There are usually half a dozen or more girls in each building. If you don't find something you like move to a nearby building. Particularly in the Tsim Sha Tsui, Jordan, Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, Prince Edward, Sham Shui Po corridor on the MTR you will never be more than a few blocks' walk from another building. Sheung Wan, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, North Point and Shau Kei Wan are also good places to look.

The first time you do it, it's odd. But that feeling should pass quickly. And remember it is perfectly legal.

No one is going to shoot you through the door if you knock on the wrong one. Just note the addresses on the websites. Many buildings and websites mentioned in this forum.

I know weeknights are usually pretty slow in wan chai, especially earlier in the week. But, what will Christmas week be like? I have work in town before and after. I can go home and do it with my family, not married and no children, or I can hang out. Alternatively, I can sex tourist in a different country. But, staying in HK is always easiest. Will Christmas Day be like Sunday for DH?
