So I'm reserved at the HK's Cascadas for the first part of my trip, Jacuzzi Suite May 21 thru 26. Plan on getting the VIP membership once I arrive.

I haven't reserved a room anywhere yet for my last few days May 26 thru 29. Wasn't sure if I might want to change to a hotel outside the zona, Ticuan or similiar, or maybe AB's Coahuila hotel.

Is it difficult to get a room somewhere on short notice as a walk-in? Or do you need to have you a room reserved ahead of time? Not sure how fast the hotels fill up down there, being memorial day weekend and everything.

Better to reserve NOW than be sorry LATER.

I just got back state side myself.

Had a good time with that chica and talked a little more after you guys left.

I finally had a chance to talk to the street chica that I was gunning for but unfortunately for me (and much more unfortunate for her, since she won't be getting business from me) , she asked me for 10 more than I would pay (which other chicas gladly accept) , I guess she knows her price.

Great night hanging out with artisttyp and first time meeting sbeach, always great to have people to have a conversation with.

No arriba tonight, as I was heading out, wanted to go for flor outside la gloria but some mexicano swooped in first.

At one point, we also entered playboy, there were surprisingly some eye candy to look at!

Had another great adventure in Candy Land. Met up with 2 great ISG members (GuitarreFreak and Artisttype). Did something that was not my normal routine and that was hang out in Las Chavelas and Nikki's. Never been to Nikki's but it's a really chill place to get away from the norm so I will be going again for sure. There are definetely some hidden gems if you just open your eyes.

After a 5 year relationship and an engagement that was called off 2 months ago I am ready to get back to my old ways. I've been out of it for years now so please excuse me if I sound dumb for asking the following questions. Has anything changed since I last visited? I assume AB and HK is still where it's at. What's the going rate these days? Will any of you guys be there this weekend and be willing to meet up?

If it was 5 years ago you're in for a treat on how much HK has changed. AB, not so much but they did expand the bar for what is mostly a worthless expansion. It is nice though.

It seems there is a big difference in exchange rate stateside vs Mexico just over the line. I was at the cambio at McDonalds at trolley station. A guy in front of me (Mexican) bought about 3 bundles of 500note pesos. He needed to give his I'd to the lady. He said he was going to get a profit in Mexico! I saw that the rate was 11. 90 at Mc Ds and selling of pesos to dollars about 11. 60 at some spots in Tijuana. I don't think it is much of a profit but I guess if you have the time you could make some change. (?)

(?)[/QUOTE]Well at that rate if you would buy a 1000 dollars worth of pesos you would make about 25 dollars. 1000 dollars X 11. 90 = 11, 900 pesos. 11, 900 pesos / 11. 60 = $1025. 86. To me that is hardly worth the effort. Besides, I think we all agree that you would have to be a complete and total idiot to walk into Tijuana carrying $1000. LOL

I am planning myself a little trip to Tijuana June 8-9 leaving like really early (probably about 4 A. M.) from Phoenix, Az on June 8 and then returning sometime on June 9. I am leaving early so I can hopefully have good look finding a decent parking spot at the San Ysidro border crossing. If anyone happens to live in the Phoenix area or somewhere between here and there and wants to tag along let me know as I would not mind having someone share the cost of the gasoline (I can usually get there and back in about 2 tanks so the gasoline would be about $80 split amongst us). All I ask is that you do not bring any illicit drugs in my car. Also, if anyone wants to meet me while I am down there let me know! Have fun!

Have any of you guys stayed at a hotel in Tijuana and had the reception girl call you and ask you if you want a girl sent to your room. I had this happen at the premiere motel. I have stayed at Ticuan and its never happened. I never asked. All I did was check in and I get a call about 30 minutes later asking if I want to see a girl. What other decent hotels do this. This was no dump place.
