In Manila you will struggle to find a bar girl that will want do stay with you 12+ hours (long time) in AC that has never been an issue for me. As Sammon said usually they leave before their shift or when I kick them out. Makati bar girls will look for ST or leave around 6am. Most of them are local and still leave with their family. I think AC is great if sex is the only thing on your mind. For me the combination of AC + another destination is the way to go.

The ones I had were very pretty. None of them stayed LT. 50% were good fun. I returned one back to the bar because she failed to perform, and I got my money back.
The only thing they MIGHT have over a lesser expensive girl is better looks. So, if that is your criteria then I see this as the only reason to choose a 3000p girl.

Made my maiden voyage to AC last month and thought that I should post a quick report here to return the favor to all of the ISG members that helped me out before my first trip. I am working on a longer, more detailed report and may post that later.
This place is great. For reference my previous experience was extensively Rio de Janeiro, one recent trip to Pattaya, some trips to Tijuana but not recently, and some minor stuff in other locations. In my opinion, AC was the best of all of these places. Certainly not perfect and lacking in some respects but for my purposes as close to ideal as I have seen.
First of all the prices were good. I was worried about reading of price inflation and thinking I would have to pay for 3000 peso spotlight dancers to get quality. I went to one or two of the fancy show bars with 3000 peso dancers (Crystal Palace and maybe Babydolls) and they looked no better than their 1500 peso counterparts. It was not worth paying double for them with (my assumed) greater chance of lousy service and / or runner. I found good quality and good value from one end of Fields (1800 peso) to far down Perimeter (1050). The Fields girls on average were a little bit prettier, more experienced, and less shy and the money savings from going to Perimeter was nearly offset by trike fees and needing to go to more bars and order more beers to find a gem. That being said I am considering staying on Perimeter for my next trip but I would not recommend that to a total newbie since Fields is a lot more convenient with everything in one spot including bars, restaurants, nice hotels, etc.
I did have some issues. One runner and one girl on her mens after she assured me she wasn't. I went right back to the bar where I got the mens girl and not only did they immediately give me my money back the manager thanked me and said that this was not the first time she did this and would be fired. I felt a little bad about her losing her job but she can apply at any of the other hundred or so bars and hopefully learn to not pull this trick again. I did nothing about the runner for about 5 days as her bar was never open when I walked past it on my rounds but finally one day I spoke to the door girls. I told them I was not going back to their bar because of the runner. I did not remember her name but I had her picture and they recognized her. They told me that if I had come back right away (I assume they meant that night or before she got paid the next day) they would have given me my money back. These were door girls and not managers and I did not actually get any money so who knows but it was a good sign. The lesson here is that if you have a problem go back to the bar ASAP and you may get your money back or at least you will not be reinforcing bad behavior which cumulatively will make it better for all of us.
I have read the debates here of AC vs Pattaya and was worried that coming from Pattaya would be a let down. This was not the case for me. Sure Pattaya had some things like a beach, nude dancing, world-class cuisine, the Devil's Den, and glitzy nightlife but these things are all minor in comparison to what I was looking for which was nice, cute girls willing to have LT sex with me for a little money. If I had the means (crossing fingers for a few years hence) and the situations do not change I could see myself living in AC with occasional trips to Pattaya as a novelty.
A few quick observations:
1. Only get as much money in the airport as you need to get to AC as the rates there will be cheaper and more consistent. In the airport do not just blindly buy from the first changer you see. I saw a difference of 0. 20 pesos/$ at two different banks within 40 feet of each other.
2. The jeepney is a good way to get around and if you are big more comfortable than the trikes. Oddly they stop halfway between Fields and Perimeter so you may need to get two but it is still cheap at 8 pesos. Not as efficient or comfortable as the baht buses in Pattaya but still pretty good. Trikes are also not bad but expect to pay more to leave Fields than to go there. To go to Perimeter they would ask for 100 but to go back only 70. A girl told me she pays 50 either way. Of course carrying me around uses more gas so I do not mind paying a little more.
3. The pinays are thicker and rounder than the Thais. For some this is a negative but not for me.
4. I took the bus both ways from Manila to AC. Going there was uneventful although I did get off at the wrong bus terminal the first time before I found the Victory Pasay terminal. Coming back was a clusterfuck as first I overslept, then the Victory bus was full. One of the touts got me on another bus (I forget the company) while his partner held a seat for me on it. I thought I would never see my suitcase again but they left it in the aisle. I gave them both 10 pesos for their trouble which they were very happy with. When I got to Manila I did not recognize the bus terminal and got in a cab to go to the airport. I said meter and he said ok but once we got going I saw the meter was flipped down and he gave me a laminated card that said 660 pesos to the airport from Ermita or Makati or wherever we were. I said that I thought we were in Pasay and he said no and showed me a street sign that said the other town. Looking at my watch and quickly calculating that it was about $15 I said screw it, let's go. I got on my plane with minutes to spare so the taxi scam was a necessary evil and relatively painless. I noticed that I was the only obvious foreigner on any of the buses. Everyone else I spoke to in AC got there via Swagman's Fly the Bus. It did not seem worth it to me to sacrifice two days in AC for Manila though so I will probably bus it again.
5. The common people in the street, on the bus, etc did not seem to speak much English. They only seemed to understand half or less of what I said. Also, Dau is pronounced "daa-oo" not "Dow". Knowing this would have made finding the right bus easier.
6. A weird thing that I saw at least three times in the week was that bar girls got a wrong order in restaurants. The waitresses did not seem to care that the girls did not get what they asked for and every time the girls said it was ok and just ate what they were brought. I never saw that happen to a man's order and I saw a lot more men's orders as I did not eat every day with girls but I ate everyday and often sat with other foreigners in the restaurant.
Well, I for one do not like to read long reports and this is getting long so that is all for now.

If the girls caused any trouble they would have been rapidly ejected or incarcerated. There was one incident where two bar girls got into a fight and damaged a bar. The local owner had the two arrested and taken to Station 4. They did not have enough cash to cover the damages so they were given the option of turning over their jewelry and cell phones towards the debt. One of the girls decided to be a wise ass and threw her phone onto the floor where it broke apart. The bar owner just looked at the policemen with a smile. They threw the girl into a holding cell with male prisoners who promptly began to fondle her tits and pussy. In a matter of minutes she was crying and begging to be released. She was left there until her family or friends could raise the money to get her out. If the girls pressed the issue at the restaurant the waitress would be right and the girls might get more than they bargained for. Non-prostitutes go through great lengths to avoid being mistaken for a bar girl.
